Most pizza restaurants in Madison and Guilford are providing pizza too much grease and oily. This place it is good pizza no grease no oil and very good Italian food.

2 subs that were, well - edible. One was missing the lettuce and tomato that it was to come with although I don't think it would have made a huge improvement. The Miranda - turkey, salami, and cheese was blah. The grinder roll was also...unspectacular. The meatball sub was just as taste-lacking and the melted cheese not melted. Try someplace else. After all how difficult is it to make a grinder? Apparently for Portofino quite difficult.More

Portofino's makes a really tasty "apizza"-- thin crust, great flavors, good combinations. The cheeses are wonderful and the sauces are delicious.

Had takeout dinner from Portofino's tonight and the lasagna and eggplant parmigiana were good, and the "garlic knots" are excellent. Stuffed breads are tasty also.

Considering it's tucked away in a small strip mall in North Madison, Connecticut, miles away from civilization, Portofino's makes surprisingly good thin crust pizza and their garlic knots are just delicious.

Portofino's makes a very good thin crust pizza and their eggplant grinders are good, too. Baked ziti had a little too much cheese for my taste.

I usually think of Portofino's as a "pizza place" however, we recently used them to cater food for a memorial service and I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was! Awesome Chicken Florentine, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Stuffed Breads/Garlic Breads and Salad....I would highly recommend if you need to order larger quantities for any type of larger event. I've had their pizza in the past too which is also very good.More

Portofino's makes a good thin crust pizza that is flavorful, chewy, and satisfying. It may not be a destination restaurant but if you are in the area and are looking for pizza you can't go wrong here. Eggplant grinder was fine also. And on Saturday...evening, they are open til 10 pm.More
