12 months a year you can get premium ice cream, a multitude of flavors, and always four that are sugar free (try to get that at Arethusa). The ginger flavor seems to have disappeared, alas, but go here.

What's better than walking into an ice cream shop, inhaling the smell of freshly made waffle cones, being greeted by a welcoming staff, and walking out with the finest ice cream in CT? When I first visited Peaches those were the first things I made note of. Then I looked around at the decor, heard the music and I swear... More

Family owned and very pleasant stop for quality ice cream with a huge variety of choice. Impressed with cleanliness of the facility.

On my way back from my weekend as Assistant Ranger at a local Boy Scout camp, I decided I was in the mood for some homemade ice cream. The variety of flavors they have is outstanding. Make sure you get two scoops so the delicious flavor lingers with you for a while. Ice cram headaches.....no problem

The service in this little ice cream shop was excellent, and the ice cream itself was fantastic. We had a couple of different flavors between us, and each one was smooth and creamy...and had the right amount of sweetness. Not cloying or overdone. Prices were reasonable... We were there on a cold, rainy day and it was crowded ... especially... More

Great ice cream with many flavors to choose. Can be busy at times. They make great ice cream cakes too. My gf always asks to stop in if we are in the area.

It's very lovely ice cream shop. They have so many icecream flavors. I took Bordeaux cherry and m&m. It was very delicious.

Huge variety of flavors, nothing looked like it had been there too long (no sign of freezer burn). Flavors are very strong, they don't hold back here. I got a scoop of coconut and a scoop of bing cherry (forgot exact name). There were tons of huge cherries. Pumpkin comes out September 15th ad not a day sooner, can't wait!

This was I believe once a greasy spoon cafe, that was transformed into an ice cream parlor. It is now under new management and the quality of the ice cream made by them seems to be creamier than ever.

Located on the border of Torrington/Litchfield on Rt.202. Plenty of parking and attractive outside. Inside is decorated like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Sit inside or out to enjoy the great creamy ice cream. Large variety of flavors in both regular and sugar free. Other places we've visited only offer one sugar free selection. Recommend stopping in for a... More
