I usually frequent The Half Door for lunch and it is usually not crowded. Solid, tasty food - large selection of beers available. Outdoor seating area, though near a busy intersection. Have always been impressed with the food. Great place to get away from the office for lunch.

This is another fake Irish pub that you see all over the world, except Ireland. Dark and deary the decor is cluttered and ancient. We ate brunch. It was only ok. $11 is your average price for a dish. The menu isn't varied. Thought the american staff were friendly though!

Very interesting menu. Not for a person who is a fussy eater. The menu is small, not many options to choose from, however, what I had was delicious. A great meal and I would go back, but only with someone who loves food. My mom did not care for it only because she is a plain eater.

The half door is an excellent spot for brunch, the staff, the atmosphere, the food and beverage selection. I will definitely be back.

We did not dine here to listen to the band/music. We just happened to be dining while this awful band played. During our meal the band member stopped and walked amongst the crowd to solicit tips to fill his boot ! When he arrived at out table we all politely said no thanks. The band member said " What are... My wife, daughter and I came here for dinner, the service was very good along with the food. The staff is friendly and helpful. We talked, ate and drank a little and never felt rushed. We've been back and really enjoyed it here.

Sorry but the last visit to the Half Door was a total disappointment. I met someone for Sunday Brunch and both the service and the food were mediocre. Maybe it was because it was later in the morning or maybe I should've been drinking to make this visit better. Whatever the reason, an average rating is all it deserves.
