This was my favorite among all the places which I ate while on my visit to New England. It touched me because of the connection with my Irish ancestry. The food was great. I loved the atmosphere and the decor.

Nice little spot, met up with friends for drinks. It was dead that night but the waitress took forever to come over to take orders, not to mention through the "half door" someone was smoking weed in the outside seating area and the restaurant staff clearly didn't care. Won't be making another trip here.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Mark Twain house. Service was good, brunch options were varied, all excellent!

Stopped for lunch at The Half Door yesterday on the recommendation from staff at the Mark Twain House where friends and I went for a tour. Did we ever feel felt like we hit the jackpot! Though the Half Door has outside seating, we chose to eat inside at the bar. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who was... More

This little pub was quaint and nice. We just stopped for a hap poo you hour drink. The staff was friendly and the happy hour drinks were inexpensive. The theme is Irish and it was very comfortable.

Stopped in based on a reccomendation from a Mark Twain house guide and was not disappointed. Barmaid was friendly and quick with the pints on $2/Irish Pint Wednesday. Vegetable chille had an interesting taste.

Had lunch here yesterday - great stuff! Had a chicken BLT which was ridiculously well cooked; the chicken was insanely tender and the ciabatta it was on was perfect. My fiancee had a turkey reuben which was also great (we split the sandwiches between us). Awesome beer list, great looking cocktails which I unfortunately didn't partake of since I had... More

Needed lunch. An Irish pub is always a good choice. This one is very popular. Service was quick. Food was average, yet the whole experience was very good.

I usually frequent The Half Door for lunch and it is usually not crowded. Solid, tasty food - large selection of beers available. Outdoor seating area, though near a busy intersection. Have always been impressed with the food. Great place to get away from the office for lunch.

This is another fake Irish pub that you see all over the world, except Ireland. Dark and deary the decor is cluttered and ancient. We ate brunch. It was only ok. $11 is your average price for a dish. The menu isn't varied. Thought the american staff were friendly though!
