We received a large box of cookies from a client of ours. The client brought them in after a company meeting as a thank you gift for our time. The Italian mixed cookies were very basic and just like any other Italian cookie. They were extremely sweet and they were good but nothing special. Tasted like any other cookie.

I'm not the biggest fan of Italian Bakeries but this one is different. It's old school with today's taste. The cannolis are filled when ordered, the cookies melt in your mouth, and the cakes are delicious. It is worth trying a new approach to the diet: anything from here! It's just too good to pass up!

The south end of Hartford used to be full of Italian immigrants with restaurants and caffes to meet their needs. Now Mozzicato's is one of a handful of establishments that continue in that tradition. The bar/café is always clean and shiny. The pastries are very good and the almond cookies very tasty. The gelato, while not as good as the... More

Our super special, and always dependable goto for desserts, cakes, and breads for many years. If Hartford had Foodie Hall of Fame, then Mazzicato's would be it's first honoree, according to this Foodie. Just their fresh Ricotta Cannoli could outshine any competitor. However, EVERYTHING else is outstanding, too. I only wish I had 1/10 of 1% Italian in my blood... More

Friendly, efficient service but pastries are too dry and dense if one prefers the light, airy French/Belgian/Swiss styles. The choux pastries were all dense and heavy. They do a very nice cannoli and tiramisu though.

I had stopped for a snack with my sidekick. The coffee and pastries were fabulous. Then I didn't want to travel to New Haven so I decided to give them a try for a party that I had for my girlfriends. All were impressed with such a wide selection here in the middle of CT. Will definitely return

THE BROWNIES!!! GET THE BROWNIES!! I am not a fan of brownies normally but these are outstanding! The service is pretty great too! Really everything from here is great! Their treats are specifically good during the holiday season!

Every single item we've ordered and sampled has been excellent. Often busy, so call ahead to order. A family-owned,delightful and old-time Italian experience. Hooray for Mozzicato!

At one point this was the absolute best place in the area. At this point it is really the only place in the area. With that said it's still worth visiting just because there are no other options. The pastries are very good but sometimes may not be as fresh as other days. The staff can be a bit cocky.... More

Absolutely horrible! We pre-ordered a strawberry and peach whipped cream cake and it was extremely dry, and they forgot the peaches. It tasted like it sat around for a week. This was a second chance visit, and once again they failed. Never again would I go there.
