Gathered family for lunch including a relative that is battling cancer. Marty, our waiter was warm, attentive and accommodating of our guest's special dietary needs. The owner, Diane DePasquale visited the table and was so very nice. GREAT food too!

The establishment is situated at a fringe of Hartford, the capitol of Connecticut, the first State to ratify the Constitution of the US. Their menu contains mostly "Italian" recipes. But the décor resembled an old English public house The walls were filled with 1800's - 1930's photos of the period. OMG, ABC, XYZ, there were no TV screens; there was... More

You can eat in for breakfast or lunch, or take out superb bakery goods to enjoy on your own. We have eaten many different bakery items here, all of which have been wonderful. My personal favorites are the lemon poppyseed muffins, the double chocolate muffins, which have a layer of chocolate at the bottom, and the pecan sticky buns, which... More

Moderate pricing with good quality food and good service. Bar area is casual and good for quick and informal dining. Summer time allows for dining in the outside patio.

We came here for happy hour after our original restaurant was too crowded on Cinco De Mayo. There was no wait and we ordered drinks, apps and a pizza. The waitress wasn't sure what we ordered, she just had no clue what she was doing. I had the calamari which was good....it would have been nice to take it home... More

great happy hour in the tavern section only. Half price pizza, half off some entrees, and good deals on some wine and beers. Service is always good. Friendly crowd.

Whenever we are in the Hartford area we stop in for a bite. The bread is amazing, made across the street at the First and Last Bakery! They usually have some loaves of bread for sale, any one is a good choice. The food is very good, old world Italian with plenty of contemporary choices available. They make amazing pizzas... More

Ate there for a late lunch and most of the crowd had already left. The server was courteous and helpful. I had the sausages and peppers with a small pasta dish. The peppers ranged from two full bell peppers to several hot ones. Very filling. The sausages had a tang to them. We also ordered the putanesca which was outstanding.... More

Our first visit and definitely will not be our last. Friends took my husband and I during happy hour. They go every week and have been for a long time. The service was great, the food was awesome and happy hour prices could not be beat. We ordered fried mozzarella, not something I would usually order but it was really... More
