We found City Steam after a quick Trip Advisor search. We wanted a place that had great food and great beer. I'm happy to say that the service here was top notch for us. The serviced we received on our Thursday evening visit made our decision to return on Saturday evening a no brainer! WHen there was an issue with... More

A little bit better than the usual pub grub. The Irish nachos and pretzel appetizers were amazing. The pizza I had as a meal was just okay. I would probably stick to drinks and apps from now on. The building is really cool, though. Provides for a great atmosphere. Three floors and all kinds of nooks and crannies were they... More

The food and atmosphere are great, however the service is what makes this place amazing. We had Tim, and we kept him hopping netween questions, drinks, and food ( our steak came almost welldone for a med rare). Besides Tim. Everyone was friendly. I didn't expect people in New England to be so friendly. PS The drinks and beers are... More

Enjoyed lunch at the restaurant after the marathon. Wait staff couldn't have been more friendly. Beer list is great with some very interesting on premise draughts. We enjoyed the lunch, and tremendous size of the nachos. Thumbs up, will surely return.

The hotel we stayed at suggested this restaurant and they said we wouldn't be sorry. They were right, we were not disappointed. The food, service and historical atmosphere were excellent. This is totally worth a try and definitely worth the money. You won't be sorry.

The restaurant was your fairly standard bar and grill, but the food was very good and our server was outstanding and knew his stuff. The mini sweet potato tater tots were excellent and the Loaded Irish nachos were very good. I had the French Onion soup burger and it was very tasty.

I needed a quick quality bite. I stopped in and enjoyed their fish and chips. A awesome plate even thousands of miles away from England. The staff is friendly and helpful Top shelf.

OK...I got the brew pup concept. Been around for 25 plus years. All the "great" beers (though they would never pass in Ireland or Germany) and EVERYONE likes them. This place has all the ambience and history, etc. etc. My view is that is needs to be refreshed, updated, re-charged and given new life. It's the old (beloved) 1964 Chevy... More

My brother and I went here after we dropped the teenagers at xfinity for a concert. Parking was easy to find and this restaurant was so close to xfinity. It's in an old brownstone and the interior was super cool. Food and beer was amazing! Our waiter was great too! We were able to stay for 4 hours while we... More
