Pretty average bar with average food. Prices are good, drinks are good, and there is plenty of space to have a crowd. Went here a few times and the food was decent each time. Nothing spectacular but a solid option for a bar with TVs and food.

Allyn Street is loaded with night-life activity and Black Bear is a really nice facility for watching sports, having some drinks, and partying with friends. I went there with a reservation specifically to watch the FIFA 2015 Women's World Cup Quarterfinal match between the U.S. and China and it was the perfect venue for that. My 3-star rating is based... Trying to avoid traffic, we took a stop over a Brown Bear Lodge. This is a large restaurant/bar in downtown. Parking is tricky, across the street is paid parking for overnight airport $10. and paid parking all around. Inside, long bar can sit about 15 people, there are also high top tables, and further into the restaurant tables throughout. The... More

Stopped in for a quick bite while waiting our flight. Shared the portobello sliders and onion rings. Far better than one has a right to expect. The sliders were hot, with real roasted peppers and a healthy amount of good goat cheese. The rings were piping hot and light. The iced tea was quite good as well. Our server moved... More

Ate there waiting for a flight. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. It was not good at all. It looked like it had been left out for a week and then burnt when cooked. The service was also just so, so. Drinks did get re-filled once, but that was it. The quick sub shop across the way made much better looking... More

We stopped in to eat lunch before our flight left. We had a group of 8 people. The service was good, everyone enjoyed their lunch. The waitress allowed us to do seperate bills and was nice.

Great appetizers and quick service. When you first see the line to wait for a table, it will seem long but the tables turn quickly. I love when I have trouble making a decision of what to eat- because there are so many options I like instead of TRYing to find something to eat.

I had 3 hours to kill at Bradley and didn't want to be rushed. I sat down at 4PM and ordered a burger with bleu cheese. The hamburger was perfectly cooked to order with just the right amount of cheese crumbles. French fries were very tasty and hot. One of the best burgers I ever had. Service at this slow... More

What a pleasant surprise the food at Black Bear Saloon is! The standouts were the cheese/veggie quesadilla, buffalo chicken wrap and the veggie panini. Both the sweet potato waffle fries and almost shoe string french fries were delicious! We went for Paint Nite on a Tuesday evening and really enjoyed ourselves. The space was light and airy with high ceilings.Service... More

This review is actually for Black Bear Saloon location in Windsor, CT at Bradley International Airport that is not listed for a review within Tripadvisor. My family had a good start with the nachos appetizer but average finish. We picked this place because it was CT establishment and really did not want a fast food joint before our flight. All...
