This is a wonderful place to hang out. I hardly go to the restaurant side, since you can get the same food at the bar area, which is about the half of the whole place. I like the atmosphere of that area better. Food is generally great, and they have many drafts to choose from, if you love beer. It... More

Although we went here for lunch we ordered off the dinner menu (a bit pricier though) the food and service were very good and the overall atmosphere was great. Will return in the future

My husband and I came here for brunch. We ordered a burger and Shepard's pie. The Shepard's pie was tasteless and that is all I could say. The burger we had, we added avocado, eggs,Gorgonzola cheese. With all that it was bland. I had come here with an expectation. Didn't live up to it. Our waitress was wonderful however.

Combination pub and diner with Irish decor and good menu selection , including salmon ...Vast amount of Fries, almost a waste since you can't finish them all. Salad or side substitute permitted. Some booths need new seats, but all the rest very comfortable. Outdoor beverage area/deck is a nice feature in good weather.

The Playwright is a local pub that's been here "forever" - the food is fabulous and reasonably priced, with some authentic Irish dishes always on the menu; the Irish stew or bangers & mash are both definite winners. Tuesday nights there is live Irish music and Wednesday is Trivia Night - come with your friends, form a team, and play;... More

Friendly atmosphere and good fish and chips. The bar is active and the restaurant has a number of choices. They always accommodate my food allergies.

I've been going here for many years and enjoy it all! They have a group that plays music on Sunday's and Tuesday's. Relaxing music while having dinner. They also have a banquet room and a deck for outdoor dining. Give it a try, you'll be happy!
