Noank, Ct. Costello’s Clam Shack is a hidden gem on the Ct. Shore line. It’s the smaller sister to Abbotts in the Rough of lobster fame. Nestled among the boats in the marina they offer a limited but delicious menu. If you have an urge for clams it’s a must stop. No glitz, no glamour, very casual with good food... More

I had lunch in May and it was good not great. I returned in August and ordered the whole belly clams. I knew when they handed me my tray that it would not be good. I should have returned it at that time but it was busy and I did not want to make a scene. The clams were way... More

We were debating over which Restaurant...I thought Costello's had more of a Variety of Seafood over Abbot's. So we chose Costello's - Loved the location and being from Maine , loved the beautiful Marina setting ...Perfect Right? WRONG 👎It was until we got our $60 meal , Which was Cold & Pathetic looking seafood plate I ever saw . The... More

If you like seafood at a very economical price, quick food, and sitting beside the water, this is the place for you. You drive through a small, quaint little town to get there and park in the marina parking lot. Wait in a short line, order in the window, find a table overlooking the boats and water, and wait for... We love Costellos for the great seafood but this time we went for two of their special salads - one with a half lobster tail on top and one with chicken, peaches, feta, walnuts, vinaigrette. We've reviewed Costellos before but had to make this new review being grateful for the lovely new and reasonably priced salads. They've also added other... More

While my family was on vacation, we are here. The food and location was great. We sat on the bottom deck, but right under the edge of the second floor deck. A staff member was mopping the upper deck, and we got water all over us. We gave the guy a look to stop, he stared at us and continued.... More

This Spring I drove to Abbott's in the Rough but Costello's was less crowded so I ate there. They have a nice two story deck and lots of shade overlooking the water and boats. Very nice meal and view.

Situated at the end of a dock surround by boats in the marina. Excellent view to watch boats coming and going on a nice day. Had bowl of delicious mussels, hot lobster roll and the special bacon wrapped scallops

Finding this place requires meandering through a tiny village with tiny streets. There are essentially three major fish shacks in this vicinity, and I believe Costello's is affiliated with its neighbor Abbott's (Costello's has some Abbott's items on its menu). The other shack is Ford's Lobster, down the street a little, off of Potter. We chose Costello's as it had... More
