Ate here for lunch and dinner. Offers fried seafood plus steamed lobster. BYOB. Lots of seating, much undercover. You order at window then pick up at another window when they call your number. Had a variety of fried items: scallops, coconut shrimp, clam strips, etc., creamy clam chowder, steamed lobster. Came with so-so coleslaw but tasty fries. Plenty of good... More

My husband and I went to Costello's in the beginning of June for lunch. It was a beautiful day and the food was great! We both had Lobster Bisque and Clam Fritters. The bisque was really good this time (in the past we have had it taste like tomato soup). The fritters had a good amount of clams in them.... More

Had lunch at Costello's. Pictures are from the outdoor seating area. Food was good and was made as we ordered it so pretty fresh. As opposed to other food places along that stretch of the coast there was plenty of parking since it was part of a large marina.

My kids don't like steamed lobster so we went to Costello's. They advertised steam food at Costello's but said the steamer was broken. So we bought awesome fried food at Costello's and went to Abbotts. Just joking, but, broken fryer, "who's on first".

The location of this restaurant is great, we watched the water and the boats as we ate fried whole belly clams, stuffed clams and fried shrimp. Throughly enjoyed our meal. This is a sister restaurant to Abbott's lobster in the rough. The clams were fantastic and my daughter enjoyed her shrimp, the stuffed clams were good but seem to be... More

Had a great lunch on the terrace overlooking the water capping off the quintessential New England July 4th weekend. The whole belly clam roll was sweet and juicy and it came with fries that were thin and crispy. Hot lobster rolls were overflowing with delicately buttered fresh lobster meat. Onion rings were lightly battered, crispy and well-salted. Help yourself to... More

Costello's was recommended by the owner of our B&B. You order at the window and then find a place to sit. Lovely views of the water and the boats. A mellow spot to enjoy a nice summer evening. Prices are reasonable and the food was plentiful and tasty. No alcohol but you can bring your own.

Costello's is one if our favorite summer stops! The food is delish with a great variety. We really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere watching all the boats coming down the Mystic River! Beautiful place to catch a sunset from the top open deck seats!

Abbot's was full, tried Costello's. Well worth it. Mostly the same fare as Abbot's, less crowded. Great Lobster Roll and Mussels. Had a great time.
