We went there with another couple several weeks ago.We had a 6:30 reservation and the place was empty. By 7:30 is was full. I ordered fois gros dumplings as an appetizer and rack of lamb as an entree. Both were superb. Everyone at the table had great food also. But the prices were very high. Was is worth it? Absolutely... I came to Rebeccas restaurant a couple weeks ago and I found it amazing! The owner, Rebecca, was so lovely and she treated us just like family. I went with my own family and we all enjoyed it so much. The food was absolutely to die for (especially the truffles pasta)! The servers were wonderful and clearly knew every little... More

i believe in giving restaurants at least 2 tries before forming an opinion. MY first experience was horrible, but we were invited back last week and had no choice but to go. At this time, I will share my thoughts: 15 minute wait to sit, another 40 minutes before order was taken (that's ~ an hour). Crowded room, waiter and... More

A very fine restaurant, with a welcoming and professional staff. The menu is ambitious and well executed. The food is excellent, well presented and of a very high quality. My only complaint about the restaurant itself is that the wine list is most disappointing for a restaurant of such ambition. Very strong in its Burgundies, just ok in its Californians,... More

Just ate at rebecca's. Completely underwhelmed. Restaurant was basically empty with no more than 5 other couples in the room and yet it took 40 minutes to get our entrees. Food was just ok at best. Staff service was fine but their pricing for the quality of the food was over the top. I've eaten in the best NYC restaurants... More

Went with another couple, we loved the atmosphere which is refined, elegance. The food is great; such a great menu to choose from. Worth the price tag and hope to visit again soon.

We took the train from Manhattan for a celebratory dinner with our daughter, son-in-law and their three "foodie" boys and were delighted by everything from the gestalt of the room, wonderful staff and sublime, unpretentious food choices. Rebecca's is terrific and would be at the top of the list in Manhattan...........and yes, it's expensive.............and it should be

My family just attended Rebecca's for a celebratory dinner. We tend to go once or twice a year and it is always a special occasion. The food unquestionably deserves 5 stars. We always are eager to go and have our favorite dishes. Some items that are noteworthy include: Appetizers: - jumbo white asparagus - endive salad - tuna tartare Main... More

We didn't have reservations but took a chance. We were graciously greeted and accommodated. Despite being told we'd have to be out by 7:30 pm, no one rushed us. The service was outstanding, as was the food. Pricy. Yes, but worth the expense.

We have been going to Rebecca's for 15 years. The food and wine list are outstanding. The menu offers many options and the truffle risotto is always a good choice as a side to share. This time, we sat looking at the kitchen. Great location. The fois gras dumplings were an excellent starter and the elk was really tender.

Description
Manhattan-chic restaurant tucked in mid-country Greenwich serves an elegant, modern American menu behind a glass-walled kitchen. Chef Reza Khorshidi’s cuisine is marked by French technique and simplicity. His wife, co-owner Rebecca Kirhoffer, matches his food with an eclectic, sophisticated and award-winning wine list. The dining room features a display kitchen visible from every table. Rated “Excellent” by the NY Times since its opening in December 1997.
