I love love love this restaurant. Just off the Avenue, you walk through the front door into a very cozy bar. The restaurant is off to the right and is bright and cheerful. All the food here is excellent....even the burgers for the non seafood believers. You really can't go wrong....BUT...take my advice and do yourself a favor. If you... More

I got the crab cake appetizer. It came with 3 medium sized crab cakes and the tartar sauce was to die for! I also got the side of avacado quinoa and that was good as well. Hard to find parking but well worth it!

Stopped here for dinner during out brief visit to Greenwich. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals immensely. Everything was delicious, especially the Connecticut style lobster roll!

The food here is really quite good. One member of our party enjoyed an asparagus appetizer and then a cheeseburger. I started with blue point oysters (not sure they were really fresh??) and then paeja (excellent). But the service is miserable. No fault to the individuals; but they are not assigned to a particular table and so confusion reins. One... More

My son is in CT for an internship and we wanted to take him to a nice seafood restaurant before we left for home. I like oysters so we looked for an oyster bar. We saw the reviews and decided to give this place a try. First, Greenwich is a beautiful place and the Elm Street Oyster House is very... More

We used to visit Elm Street on a regular basis a long time ago, but stopped when their fish preparations became overly complex. I like fish as fish, not with 15 other ingredients. With a dearth of decent seafood restaurants in Greenwich, we decided to try it again. I'm happy to say that they've gone back to their roots. You... More

Up from Florida and hoping for. Touch of New England seafood after a long day of business related activities. Had my hotel drop me off here and when I walked in I got a big attitude when I requested a small table. There were three open but he wanted me to sit at a small counter. Six foot four and... More

Found this place while shopping and decided to have dinner there, the restaurant was quite full but they found us a table quite quick. I had the clams and oysters and my husband had the salmon with greens, all was very good, the chocolate soufflé was the die for, it came with ice cream and cream. Would come to this... More

We passed by Greenwich and stopped for an early dinner . People traffic was quite active , and from reading other reviews in Tripadvisor , the place does indeed look like a local favorite . But my perspective is that of a casual visitor . There is a bar when you first enter , and a dining room further inside... More

Love the frequent and delicious menu changes, but most of all, the fantastic selection of oysters. (We are there, when in town, just about every Sunday for dozens, yes, dozens of oysters and "bubbles". Now that it's warm, there are a few tables outside.
