AJ's has always had a wide range of customers depending on the day and time you go there. Weeknights tend to be regulars on the way home from work. Weekends add younger and older demographics with more families thrown in from nearby Woodridge Lake. The new building is attractive outside with not quite enough parking when things get busy. As... The girlfriend and I both ordered steaks medium rare. We got a well and medium well un-flavorable steak. Good thing I had a few beers in me and needed to eat. Oh, if you plan on actually talking to your dinner guests I suggest sitting next to them. Can't hear anything from all the echo and noise in the place.... More

The old AJ's, in the basement of a building near the post office, had charm, but not much. It was known for friendly waitstaff and basic, good food at reasonable prices, especially the prime rib dinner on Thursday for only $9.95. Aesthetics were marginal at best. The new AJ's is located about a mile east of the rotary on Route... More

We brought our family of 8 to celebrate my dad's birthday on a Saturday night and we were pleased to see the atmosphere at AJ's in their new digs. We will NOT be returning to AJ's and neither should you! After waiting to order and waiting for our drinks, the waitress came to the table 30 minutes later to tell... More

I frequent this restaurant, usually on Wednesdays after rehearsal. It's busy and noisy but the burgers are worth it. And chicken fingers too. My friend had a 'yuge' plate of nachos which she said were delicious and mussels last week which were 'the best' mussles. There is a special each night of the week. Wednesday is seafood night. Sometimes there... More

We enjoyed the old AJ's and tried the new location for lunch. The large new building is cavernous and uninviting. The bar section was full where we sat and an elderly couple who were ignored for 15 min ended up leaving because the banquet section wasn't cleared after an event. We had bison burgers which is our favorite there and... More

Loved seeing the new place! The best sweet potato fries around! We loved the fast and courteous service. The burgers my children had and the chicken sandwich were delicious. Portions are generous.

We stopped for lunch at AJ's, in their new building. The building itself is beautiful. The woodwork, decorations and windows really create a relaxed atmosphere. The food was good, economical and the portions were just enough.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend that told me they had the best french onion soup. We stopped in for lunch and I ordered the french onion soup and we split potato skins with no bacon on it. It was a delicious lunch. If you like lots of cheese and great flavor they do have the best... More

We stumbled upon AJ's because in a Saturday afternoon at 3 pm there were so many cars in the parking lot. Nice new place, as other reviewers have said, a little loud but so promising. They've only been at thus location since Labor Day so plenty of time to get out the kinks. Great menu, fun lively place. Certainly drop... More
