Great Place off the main drag

This is great place to grab a bite in a relatively tucked away plaza compared to being in the center of town. We went for lunch and the service and food were great! Glad we dropped in and will for sure keep it in mind for the future.

Great food, great service. Don't tell anyone because I feel like it's my little secret. Nice casual atmosphere, hubby loves the beer selection.

I love coming to this bar and restaurant for dinner and drinks. One disadvantage is they don't accept reservations, so be prepared to wait 45 minutes or longer on weekends. Most of the time I've lucked out and seats have opened up at the bar for us. They have great appetizers (try the onion rings) and have great burgers and... More

Nice surprise. You just don't expect food to be so well prepared and so well presented from a cozy place like this. Warm, rustic atmosphere in a medium small but adequate space. Would unhesitatingly recommend.

A great little bar and restaurant. The bar scene is active (all ages), with a sports bar feel and an eclectic mix of appetizers and unique chef driven dishes at moderate prices. The staff is engaging, friendly and attentive as one might find in a small restaurant with an owner present.

The owners found a gem of a place that always draws a crowd because of the food and microbrews. I would have given this place an excellent rating if it wasn't so crowded, small and loud. The food is consistently good and fresh. The menu has enough variety to please any palate.

Birch Hill Tavern is a small place which is probably it's biggest downside. Their large beer list is very interesting and varied. Whether you order the fish tacos with swordfish, or lobster mac and cheese, or the beet and arugula salad, or anything else on the menu...you will be impressed. I found the Beet and Arugula salad to be nothing... More

Glad we parked and walked over because it is hard to see this place is open or not! Dark blinds cover windows, but once inside what a cute place. Nice bar with about a dozen seats, several high top tables for 2-4, also a separate dining room. Lighter menu. Lots of beers if you like beer, and several TV's too.... More

If you're looking for a local tavern that serves a nice variety of beers and a lighter fare menu, this is the place. Reminds me . neighborhood bar with class. The craft beers vary by availability. There is a nice choice of appetizers. I can recommend the calamari. Lightly fried with dill chips and sweet peppers and a balsamic reduction.... More
