I've been here a number of times with my family and it is always good. Wine is great, service good too. Love the outdoor patio and pasta dishes! Portion sizes are moderate, which is actually nice!

Met some friends for dinner here. We had reservations so no problem with seating. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was great for catching up with my friends -- not too loud but still energetic. Our food was perfectly prepared and delicious all the way around. No one needed a doggy bag! One of the many great choices in Glastonbury!

I wasn't expecting a fine dining experience in an upscale neighborhood pub setting with some of the best Italian food ever. Nice wine list (and I believe it was half-price Tuesday or similar special). We chose the margherita pizza as a shared appetizer, and I could have stopped there - but didn't! The Maine White Water Mussels appetizer that I... More

This is an upscale "red sauce" pizza restaurant. If you're a red sauce, nonni's pasta type then Bricco's fits the bill. Just not our speed. Soup of the day was a squash and corn---would have nice to have been told it was a COLD soup. Also chicken scarpariello was mostly a pasta dish sans chicken so my husband was disappointed.... More

I have always had great food here. It is too good apparently because I have to leave to no seating available on several occasions. If you go, go early! The lobster grilled cheese is awesome...

Went with friends for Happy Hour (starts at 4 pm every day). Sat at the bar - beautiful decor, comfortable chairs with backs, gem of a bartender (Gina), quiet. Appetizer menu was eclectic - we had a number of appetizers to get a sampling of the food. Well prepared and 1 st class wrt taste and quantity. Tried the 1/2... More

Went to Bricco Trattoria for a special anniversary dinner, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was very busy, but our reservation was honored immediately. Our server was very pleasant and the food was excellent.

The salads are terrific. Always fresh, and their seafood is terrific. Consistent. Prices for wine are high, but good white wine.

The word bricco originates as the piece of a hill where the snow first melted away. Wine in Italy grown in these spots is considered far superior to all others. I have also heard that bricco is also an Old Italian term for “kettle” or “cast iron pot." Now that you have background on the name, what a perfect name... More
