We went out to hiking but got lost in Canton, since I was lunch time we decided to get lunch, friend Jean recommended Bamboo on route 4, we found it finally. The restaurant only opened a small area for lunch customers, The owner mentioned that...they’re short of people. The food was tasty but the portion is small, that’s my only complaintMore

We came here for lunch based on good online reviews and were blown away at how good this place was. Making sushi is a form of art, and this place takes it seriously. They have a good menu with the standard options (like avocado rolls...and salmon rolls), but are willing to take requests, all of the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and everything in general was fantastic. They also have a wonderful non-sushi menu - their pad thai was good, as was their chicken with garlic sauce. They also take great care with safety measures during the pandemic, constantly sanitzing everything and spacing out tables.More

By far none, this is the best sushi restaurant in New England. Nobody beats the sushi chef ‘Long’. Long is very proactive and understanding with people’s requests. The service at the sushi bar is incredible, all of the staff members are very friendly, and the...service at the dining room is also very good. If I could have Gordon Ramsay to eat here, It would satisfy his taste buds extraordinarily. Bamboo is meant for everyone, whether your there for business lunch/dinner, family dining, or for dining as a couple and the occasional birthday.More

Fantastic customer service and foods. Sushi chefs are friendly and willing to converse about their art. Food always excellent. I have visited for takeout several times during pandemic. They are always masked, sanitize my credit card before handing it back. On-line ordering works well. You...can't go wrong with this restaurant.More

Bamboo thankfully remains open and serving its standards during these Covid times. Proper precautions are set in place with each order bagged and ready to go with staggered arrival times to decrease foot traffic and increase social isolation probability. Gloves and masks are worn by...staff, loads of antibacterial gel are on hand for use. Familiar with the superior product offered at bamboo, I am happy to report that nothing is lost with the take out conversion. My favorite, the snow mountain roll – – king crab piled a top shrimp tempura enveloped in rice and seaweed with a mayonnaise-based sauce— was as fresh and delicious as it always is. The barbecue spareribs were plentiful in number, tender and pliable with a tangy sauce that enhanced the flavor of the meat, not detracted from it. My companion enjoyed the edamame, the vegetable spring rolls, and the vegetable medley— tons of food, reasonably priced, crispy lightly seasoned vegetables that were lipsmacking good. Extra high marks were given to the broccoli. Relieved to see our friends serving up delectable eats in our time of needMore

Great Asian food, but don’t expect a real cocktail. Stick to bottled beer or wine. Why must I write 100 characters before my review is accepted by this APP?

My wife and I consider ourselves "sushi connoisseurs", even having eaten sushi in Japan when we visited back in the early 2000's. While I won't compare this restaurant to what we ate there, it is in fact some of the best Sushi I have had...in Connecticut. Absolutely flavorful and great customer service as well. We will definitely be back.More

After an extremely long walk in the woods at Winding Trails, we loved the fact that this restaurant was just around the corner for some refreshment. This popular location is always impeccably clean, warm and welcoming with a beautiful glassed-in section which allowed the sunshine...in to join us for lunch. The menu is large, with lots of appetizers/soup/salad/entrée selections of Asian fusion cuisine, but The sushi remains King. We were extremely pleased to find that although it was a sunny afternoon, the lunch specials still ran. For a mere $9.95, we each got a Miso soup, a generous salad with ginger dressing and a two roll combination. As usual, the food was beautifully presented, extremely fresh, and absolutely delicious — not to mention, it turned out to be a heck of a lot of food, filling us all We will continue to returnMore

WARNING FALSE ADVERTISING: I attempted to get takeout with these guys today along with my co-worker. As we both are on shift we decided to split the Sushi Couple which the google menu showed as costing $13 (see attached screenshot). When I showed up to...pick up my food for my meal break I was told the Sushi couple costs $20, which is basically 150% the advertised price. I showed the hostess the menu item online, how I reached it, and told her that I was only prepared to pay $13 for the item given that was the advertised amount when I made my order and as I was splitting the cost with a coworker. After wasting about 15 minutes of my time deliberating over the price and calling the owner they made the unbelievable decision to not honor their advertised price. Long story short: whoever owns this business is a scrooge who values neither his customers time nor is willing to honor his posted prices. Take your business literally anywhere else.More

It is modern and chic family style dining with a bar. Very attentive service from the servers. Food is good at a reasonable price. Spices are diluted to appeal to the local palate as i feel some asian dishes are supposed to be very spicy.

The Bamboo Grill serves up the best of Asian food in a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. You have a choice of either classic American Chinese selections or classic Japanese including Sushi and Sashimi. They do have a luncheon special menu with very nice bento...boxes and sushi combinations. I seem to always select the bento box: moist salmon and tender chicken available. We have been to this restaurant many times and it is consistently very good. On site free parking.More

We don’t have to go very far which is just another one of those wonderful things about Bamboo. Having said that, the service and the food are definitely worth driving a long way for. We were warmly greeted by the host and given a lovely...table with a view. In no time at all, the waiter was at our side inquiring about drinks, placing menus at our table. We started with the pork giozas, which were lightly fried and served with a tangy side sauce— Consistently excellent , tonight was no exception. I chose the rainbow roll for my entrée. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious! My daughter chose the teriyaki chicken which came with a bowl of miso soup to start. The entire meal was enormous with enough to take home to serve at least as one whole additional meal if not more. The dish remains one of her favorites as the chicken is perfectly prepared, juicy and tender, over a bed of onions and carrots with a tangy teriyaki based sauce on top. Yum Reliably awesome. We will be back, again and againMore
