The places is continually understaffed. This is my 3rd time here in 5 years, and every time I visit; I immediately regret it. The food is slightly above average, but nowhere near the best BBQ in Fairfield County. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the aggravation.

I placed a catering order for my son's graduation party a few days ago. The person who took my order was extremely helpful in figuring out how much food I needed. Party was yesterday and all the guests raved about everything! Meats were tasty and juicy. The baked beans were outstanding! Would definitely get again! Thanks Wilsons!!!

Food was ok. Burnt ends and rice is ok. Staff was appropriate and polite. It's ok BBQ. Not so sure what the rave is all about.

I saw Diners, Drive in, and Dives and everything looked Soo tasty. IDK if Guy Fiery was lying or if Wilson only chose to make good food on the day that Guy visited. Fast forward. . . My fiancé and I decided to go in and give it a try. The place was cut and Wilson was there so we... More

We were coming back to PA from MA- so we decided to try to find a different kind of place for a quick bite. We looked this place up and went out of way from Rt 15 to, 95 south. The menu looked extensive. But the prices were a bit steep. We decided to order 2 pulled pork sandwiched, Baby back... More

The food is good, not great, but good. However, it is expensive and thus a poor value. The staff would rather chat with each other and spend time on their phones rather than helping customers. Its like your bothering them when you walk in the door.

service was very stand-offish, ordered ribs, they were awful, returned them for pulled pork, which was just as bad. I don't know what happened here, because the last time we were there the food and service was much better.

On our way home to jersey, when we needed to take a break. Stopped here, it came up first on our gps. Cute little "shack". Pretty good assortment. Service kind of all over the place. When we walked in, there was one other person in front of us. Don't know how long he was waiting. The girl taking the orders... More

So my friend and I were coming back to MA from a Hershey Park vacation. She loves Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives so she really wanted to hit this place up on the way home for dinner. First clue that should have made us turn around....Saturday night, 6pm, in a oceanside town, with TWO PATRONS. I decided on the pulled... More
