Guess what they are closed for good. Yup, closed over night. The local Inns weren't even aware. Don't waste your time with drive out which we did. They didn't even bother to put a message on their phone number when you call.

Nice little seafood restaurant with limited parking. Go early! Seafood selection was vast, good fried shrimp, fish dishes and salads. My only complaint was that my broiled seafood dinner was a bit overcooked. Great waitress, nice small bar with locals. They have Guiness on draft so hubby was happy, also good selection of by the glass wines.

Easy access and always a spot on location for raw bar and clams, oysters, shrimp and scallops to be on their mark. A local dine in location, with a sliver of outdoor space in season, for tried and true clams casino, and my go to the fried oysters.

I went with my wife and daughter. Appetizers are great especially the oysters. My wife and daughter had salmon and it looked so good. I had a whole lobster which was steamed perfectly. It is a very small place but not loud at all. The service was perfect with them not rushing you and bringing out everything hot. I would... More

Whenever my parents come up from New Jersey, this is the restaurant we frequent the most. My dad and I are avid oyster fans and this place satiates our oyster fix. Their Blue Point oysters are so fresh, so plump, and so delicious, we can easily take down a dozen each. My mom enjoys all kinds of fish, so she... More

If you like oysters, you'll love this place. Great selection - I usually have a variety on a sampler platter. Great chowder too. Only why not 5 stars is the parking can be a challenge - have been back a few times and while the food quality is excellent, service attentive, and prices reasonable, parking has been limited.

The good: We had a nice sampling of the food (appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entree) and everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and once an order was placed they were quick to deliver. The bad: The place is not really big, and parking is sparse. Service was mediocre at best. They never took a drink order, and we had to... More

We visited the Black Rock Oyster Bar & Grill with friends for lunch and sampled both Blue Point oysters and Rocky (Oysters Rockerfeller), Chowders and Fish and Chips. All were delicious and the oysters fresh and tasty. Don't get put off by the exterior and surroundings, this place is a serious temple for oyster aficionados

This is a good seafood restaurant with a large selection of menu items. It has tile floors and gets very noisy when busy. It's a "happy noisy" but would not recommend at peak times if needing to discuss business or propose marriage, etc.
