We chose the restaurant because of the reviews. We had crispy duck but it had shattered bones in every mouthful, so not very pleasant to eat. The sushi was ok, sashimi very nice, the rolls with avocado were ok, the rolls with spicy tuna not so great. We would not visit again. On the positive, staff are friendly.

Went to Wild Rice for a bite to eat with a good friend of mine. It was mid-week and thankfully the restaurant had free tables when we arrived. It picked up as the evening went on. The staff are welcoming and attentively here. I ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Sauce with chicken and brown rice. It was superb. My friend... More

Excellent sushi, sashimi, even better service. Small but cozy and clean environment. I like the vibe. I hope to come here again soon.

Wild Rice is delicious. I love seafood, especially sushi and this place definitely delivers. The kitchen and staff are accommodating if you want to make little changes to certain dishes. Even the food from the kitchen (as opposed to the sushi bar) is really good, and offers a hearty size dish. Anytime I want sushi when I'm in Fairfield, I... More

We had an enjoyable dinner. They have a nice menu- appetizers, sushi, rolls, entrees, drinks, salads and desserts. We started with an order of Spring Rolls- very fresh and tasty. For my main course I had Teriyaki Chicken and brown rice. It was delicious and lovely presentation. My husband had the Chow Fun Chicken- large serving and very fresh and... More

We went during the "blizzard" of 2016... We have tried LC Chens, Sweet Basil among other sushi restaurants in Stamford and this one is the closest to what we have come to expect from Canada. We had the Pad Thai, Yaki udon, pho soup, edamame, fried pork dumplings and an assortment of sashimi, sushi and rolls. Everything was fresh and... More

It's a nice size place- with cool decor. I ordered the shrimp shumai which is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere! Their ginger dressing is fantastic and the sushi is so mouthwatering and fresh - practically melts in your mouth. Can't wait to go back.

As a regular customer at Wild Rice for quite a few years, it has spoiled me - I never seem to like sushi as much anywhere else we go. The food is consistently so fresh, and has a wide selection on the menu for non-sushi eaters as well. my favorite roll is the Caribbean roll with plantain bananas, peanuts &... More

Great downtown Fairfield vibe with seasonal seating outside. Love the food and love that they accommodate my daughter's food allergies. Thank you!
