The best lo mein I've had in a long while. Their shrimp spring roll is excellent I'm hooked. Eat in, take out, or have them deliver to your job. Shrimp avocado salad is delish

So what happened here? This place has been only average for a long time yet we had a great meal the other day. New chef? We started with Tom yum soup which was hot and spicy with plenty of shrimp. Then Some pan fried dumplings—light as a feather, small and not doughy. We followed it up with two entrees—terrific shrimp with eggplant and bok chow with garlic sauce. We asked for it spicy and they complied. So we walked away content and we will be back again. Far superior to the new SHU or Lilac House. At least for this meal.

The Chinese Takeout that we used for 30 years has new owners, and the food quality does not meet up with that of the previous owners. So we are starting a systematic review of available spots in Fairfield County, CT.
This restaurant was the second tried, and we were not overly thrilled with the food.
We went for takeout on a Saturday afternoon for reference.
Wonton soup had little chicken soup flavor, the wontons were soggy, and there were no green vegetables.
The Hot-and-sour soup was neither, just loaded with tofu.
Fried rice was almost brown in color, dry, and supposed to have shrimp. There were two small shrimp.
General Tso's chicken was pieces of chicken with a light batter, pale on color, few colorful vegetables, and a little sauce.
The Fuji Pork tenderloin was pieces of pork, lightly battered, and served with a sweet almost pineapple sauce. No snow peas, few bell peppers.
However, to be very honest, the egg rolls were crisp, filled, and delicious.

The reviews here are OLD! This one of the best Aisian restaurants in the area. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and the service is attentive. Delivery can be very quick depending on order time. I always enjoy the uncomplicated way food is prepared and not drenched in cheap sauces like many places. It’s fresh, well prepared and one of the best.

The four of us sat down and were asked if we were ready to order since we had just mentioned how hungry we were. We actually ordered drinks first but was surprised how quick the apps came. Then dinner entrees we chose were excellent. We'll go back again , I'm sure.

I personally have not had a bad meal at this restaurant.
I think you have to know what your taste in food is normally and then order food at a Pan Asian restaurant that is not going to be covered up with a lot of sauces. The plainer the food sounds on the menu, I think the more the natural flavor of the food comes out. This restaurant has the best dry sautéed String bean entrée. Their brown Rice is cooked perfectly, it is beautiful. Their Vegetable hot and sour soup is to die for . The Mongolian Beef is a nice honest dish. We like to go to L.C. Chens and order different dishes and spilt them among the four of us. that way we can try different dish and find what our favorites are and expand our knowledge of the cuisine without ordering the whole dish. And it is just a lot of fun! I say good food good times! They will see me back again, think a little before you order. Also if you're in a hurry stay home and throw something in the microwave.

Very good service. Nice bar. Good food, such as chicken, shrimp dishes, egg rolls, etc. Discounts on certain wines. Pretty inexpensive. I'll be back.

Our family enjoyed a variety of choices including egg rolls, chicken lo mein, shrimp and pork fried rice, crab Rangoon and a curry dish.
We had it delivered and it arrived on time and hot!

We went in for lunch. The lunch pricing is very reasonable but soup and egg roll are extra. First off, I should have just ordered egg rolls. They were plump and delicious. Next came my lunch of Pad Thai which I ordered because of other reviewers. Yuk. The flavor was bland and the chicken... I can't tell you how awful. It was thin, overcooked and then had the chew of also being dried out and microwaved. My fellow diners thought their shrimp lo mein was ok, not great. I might give it another chance and try something different on the menu. I believe in second chances.

We went for a birthday lunch at 2pm. Although we were first there, 3 tables after us was served before us and they didn't serve two if our party water until really late. Service was painfully slow and the food smelled bad. Not appetising. The shrimp and broccoli had gross sauce. The boneless ribs were gross. My shrimp was very questionable as far as how fresh it was.... Even the pork fried rice was gross.

Billed as the "Best Pan Asian in Town" is the truth. I've been enjoying LC's for years and they consistently provide a great meal. When I'm too lazy to get up and go there, they deliver to my door. Can't beat the service either. I love the huge selection of their "signature rolls. Such as a Rainbow roll or the coastal fire roll. That's spicy tuna with wasabi bean and wasabi mayo dressing. My favorite is the Atlantic roll- tempura lobster, mango and lettuce with spicy kani, blueberry mayo and eel dressing.
They also have the usual Chinese offerings, Gen Tso's chicken, crispy duck, lemongrass trio (chicken, shrimp, beef with shitake mushrooms and asparagus and brown rice.
If you want beef, you must try the LC Steak Kew. It's their version of a filet mignon dry sautéed with veggies.
Mmmmmmm. I'm hungry just telling you about this place.
Crispy Crab cakes as well as the Ichiban Shrimp are my favorite appetizers.
The Tom Yum Shrimp soup is something ct, but it's awesome.
I love their location and the cute fountain in front.
The only drawback is the live tropical fish tank inside.
A lot of Asian restaurants have a fish tank and personally, unless there's lobsters in there, I find it unappetizing.
Especially if the tank requires maintenance or cleaning.
But, this is a really nice place for good food.
And they deliver locally.

When all you want to get some decent hot food and fill up, then this is a convenient place. For somebody like me who lived in HK, my standards for Chinese and Asian food can be challenging to satisfy. However, this place is convenient and when you cannot think of any other place to go, this is the place.

This is my neighborhood staple when I want sushi. Always fresh a delicious, albeit the portion sizes are beginning to shrink. The curry wantons are a new favorite. Pad Thai can be touch and go (sometimes spicy other times not, disappointing). The staff are very friendly.
My only constructive criticism is that when placing a take out order, you're always told 20 minutes, but in reality it is more like 40.

Yes, I was disappointed, and no I will not go back! I had been wanting some Chinese food for about 2 weeks and finally went here - remembering pleasant meals when it was Two Lions, but this time- forget it! I ordered Vegetable Egg Foo Yung and perhaps it was my mistake since it wasn't on the menu. No worries, I won't make that mistake here again. The waiter took my order and what he brought back made me question what I initially ordered. After tasting it, I was soooo disappointed. To add to it, when I questioned the sauce to the server, he certainly didn't help at all! He began to tell me that it wasn't on the menu and that's the way they always prepare it and that they have had the same chef for 4 to 5 years and asked where did I have the dish before...was it here or someplace else and how long ago 8 years? Why this discussion? It wasn't as I have always had in many different restaurants! Why all the talk? Perhaps making a suggestion for another dish or encouraging me to try it this way would have been better, but no, it almost seemed like I was wrong for ordering something that wasn't on the menu and this is the way they prepare it take it or leave it! Did i mention that the veggie/egg mix was watery? I went out today and ordered the real deal and my next review will certainly tell you all about it!

Most of the time its good, sometimes you hit something not so good. Sushi is very good and fresh, but very standard. It is good for delivery. Love the duck spring rolls. I have eaten here or take out many times. Udon Soup is awesome and very hard to find.
