My friend and I really wanted something good to eat without any hassle, but also without having to dine inside. Though I wish we could do the whole process from the patio table (you order and pay inside; they bring to you outside), we are not in a normal world, and I’m not going to be one of those people. Not their fault, and their system works for them. The seating area is spotless, beautifully surrounded by well-tended flowers (hanging and sitting pots, beds around property). The covered area provided shade in the 93 degree day, but it felt cooler, and the upbeat music and the margarita and water helped. This place gets my vote for best wings in Enfield. Perfectly crisp, and they offer numerous dry rubs and sauces for options. I’m a rub person, and I love both their Old Bay and Tandoori rubs. Pastrami brisket sandwich is generously piled Boars Head with mustard and cheese on a grilled marble rye, generous fries. Friend got the fried pickles, which had some red peppers and jalapeños for color and flavor contrasts. Excellent pub food, excellent atmosphere, and the best use of the property in the two decades I’ve been in the area. These are good people doing honest food. And boy is the food exactly what I wanted. Less busy on weekdays for those still wary of bigger turnouts (understandably)

Take advantage of this well run establishment

Very well done by Tom and his staff. Wife and I went tonight at 6pm. Had a nice relaxing bite to eat ect. Patio is set up safe , decorated with beautiful flowers and plenty of distanced seating . The Yarde Tavern is very well organized dealing with food and beverage. Perfect for a change of pace.

First Visit; Can't Wait to Return

We enjoyed exceptionally good food and service during a leisurly New Years Eve lunch the other day. We had always heard the Nachos are THE menu item, but astonishingly, we skipped the Nachos and ate everything else instead. Started with a shared Calamari appetizer. It's rare we order that because it's usually so ordinary, but here at Yarde it's prepared and presented with tender loving care. Nicely done with capers, red peppers and a sprinkle of parm cheese. My wife enjoyed the Tuna Melt, though it was nothing extraordinary. My pulled pork bbq sandwich was stellar - inspiring tastes. My side salad was more than a side salad, and the bleu cheese dressing was excellent. Even her fries were way above average. Decent selection of draft beer. Will return soon to try those Nachos. Highly recommended overall.

Don't get the 1/4 pound burger

Went there for lunch today. 1/2 pound burgers are too much for a lunch, so I ordered the 1/4 lb burger with fries. The good news is the beer and the fries - the fries are very good. However, the burger was terribly dry and flavorless. I even requested a second burger, but it was the exact same. Very disappointed. I also noted that most of the plates were chipped.

Monday night dinner at the bar

Second visit here and this place did not disappoint. Stopped in last month too while passing through town for a bite to eat and drinks at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. Appetizers were very good. First visit we had the hummus. This time the spinach and artichoke dip... Yum! Sandwiches we delicious too. I had the Mediterranean wrap with grilled chicken. The menu had plenty of options from apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Food and service were great. Casual atmosphere. Easy access to the highway. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Pretty lame Party of 9 with kids. Service was decent . Unfortunately the food was below average. I got the yarde chicken which I was told was excellent. Not really, very overcooked as was the same with the other members who ordered the same, rest of the party agreed that the food was average at best. Would not recommend and definitely will not be back.

Great Dinner with my fur baby

This restaurant has a large outside seating section with options of tables with chairs or picnic tables, all with umbrellas fir shade. The staff was super friendly and made our dog feel so welcome. The food was excellent... this is our new favorite place to eat lunch or dinner with our dog (our dog agreed) 😁

Good dining option

I dined here twice in a week as a first time visitor to the Windsor area. The drinks were interesting and fun to try. I liked the variety of food options from the menu - the turkey burger was very good. Waitstaff we’re friendly and efficient. Nothing negative to say! I recommend Yarde Tavern to you.

Great specials, huge tap list, reliable menu.

When I think of the Yarde, I think big menu, good taps, and great inch and (appt hour specials!) House burger is always good, wings and Reuben always solid. Had the meatloaf grilled cheese this time. It was amazing and the little cup of gravy on the side was amazing! Road warriors should know they have WiFi and you won’t be disappointed with your visit here.

Stopped in for dine in lunch. Heard about the wings and they did NOT disappoint. Pretty sure they are brined pre fry. Large and tasty. This will be out go to spot for wings. Then split a Reuben which was loaded and tasty. Fries were forgettable, would get rings next time. Great beer list. Eat local!

Lunch on a snow day.

Stopped in on a Snowy day after some Christmas Shopping. Had a great lunch, my wife had the Ruben and I enjoyed the patty melt. The server was friendly, checked to see if they had beer, I was interested in. They did not have it. During the course of our visit, the keg was delivered and she promptly let me know. I really appreciate that. The beer list is always a highlight of my visit to the Yarde Tavern.

Great Food and Beer!

Went with wife and kid, we all had a great meal. Very big menu, lots of variety. My daughter really liked her flatbread pizza. The grilled cheese meatloaf sandwich was awesome! Big beer list, as well. Waiter on 05/26 was great. Place was busy but the service was excellent. Seems like it would be a great place to grab a beer with friends. If I’m in the area again I’ll be back.

Nachos Supreme- NOT

If you like lots of chips with tons of jalapeños with almost no tomatoes, pulled pork or cheese you’ll like these. Always had great food until this order tonite- not good at all- in fact, the worst nachos I can ever remember having. Order the sandwiches- nachos are the worst

Good food but...
