We enjoyed exceptionally good food and service during a leisurly New Years Eve lunch the other day. We had always heard the Nachos are THE menu item, but astonishingly, we skipped the Nachos and ate everything else instead. Started with a shared Calamari appetizer. It's...rare we order that because it's usually so ordinary, but here at Yarde it's prepared and presented with tender loving care. Nicely done with capers, red peppers and a sprinkle of parm cheese. My wife enjoyed the Tuna Melt, though it was nothing extraordinary. My pulled pork bbq sandwich was stellar - inspiring tastes. My side salad was more than a side salad, and the bleu cheese dressing was excellent. Even her fries were way above average. Decent selection of draft beer. Will return soon to try those Nachos. Went there for lunch today. 1/2 pound burgers are too much for a lunch, so I ordered the 1/4 lb burger with fries. The good news is the beer and the fries - the fries are very good. However, the burger was terribly dry and...flavorless. I even requested a second burger, but it was the exact same. Very disappointed. I also noted that most of the plates were chipped.More

Pretty lame Party of 9 with kids. Service was decent . Unfortunately the food was below average. I got the yarde chicken which I was told was excellent. Not really, very overcooked as was the same with the other members who ordered the same, rest...of the party agreed that the food was average at best. Would not recommend and definitely will not be back.More

I have been coming to this place for more than 3 years and have always given 5 star reviews and have told my friends how much I liked it. Not today! I came in for an app and drink. Sat at the bar barmaid took...a while to get to me too busy on her phone checking messages and attending to all the locals because she all knew their names. I told her about the grease on the floor by the restrooms and down the ramp all they did was put a caution sign up instead of taking care of the problem which could have brought a lawsuit on for the restaurant if someone fell and got hurt. During the COVID time bar was sectioned off to 2 and 3 chairs per section. There were 6 people jammed in the section next to me looking for chairs from other areas. I was very disappointed today like I said I had been coming here for more than 3 years and told others how great it was. If the owner sees this I have pictures. I hope things can get better here.More

Stopped in for dine in lunch. Heard about the wings and they did NOT disappoint. Pretty sure they are brined pre fry. Large and tasty. This will be out go to spot for wings. Then split a Reuben which was loaded and tasty. Fries were...forgettable, would get rings next time. Great beer list. Eat local!More

My friend and I really wanted something good to eat without any hassle, but also without having to dine inside. Though I wish we could do the whole process from the patio table (you order and pay inside; they bring to you outside), we are...not in a normal world, and I’m not going to be one of those people. Not their fault, and their system works for them. The seating area is spotless, beautifully surrounded by well-tended flowers (hanging and sitting pots, beds around property). The covered area provided shade in the 93 degree day, but it felt cooler, and the upbeat music and the margarita and water helped. This place gets my vote for best wings in Enfield. Perfectly crisp, and they offer numerous dry rubs and sauces for options. I’m a rub person, and I love both their Old Bay and Tandoori rubs. Pastrami brisket sandwich is generously piled Boars Head with mustard and cheese on a grilled marble rye, generous fries. Friend got the fried pickles, which had some red peppers and jalapeños for color and flavor contrasts. Excellent pub food, excellent atmosphere, and the best use of the property in the two decades I’ve been in the area. These are good people doing honest food. Very well done by Tom and his staff. Wife and I went tonight at 6pm. Had a nice relaxing bite to eat ect. Patio is set up safe , decorated with beautiful flowers and plenty of distanced seating . The Yarde Tavern is very well...organized dealing with food and beverage. Perfect for a change of pace.More

Second visit here and this place did not disappoint. Stopped in last month too while passing through town for a bite to eat and drinks at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. Appetizers were very good. First visit we had the hummus. This...time the spinach and artichoke dip... Yum! Sandwiches we delicious too. I had the Mediterranean wrap with grilled chicken. The menu had plenty of options from apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Food and service were great. Casual atmosphere. Easy access to the highway. We will definitely return. I have gone to the. Yard. House for the past year for lunch with my son. We enjoy playing keno. The food was good and friendly service. Last month. I went and ordered a chicken salad. When. I left that day. I felt sick to...my stomach. I let it go for a few days and. I thought I had a virus. I couldn't eat anything. I went to the doctor and was asked if. I had home to any restaurants in the last few days. I told him yes and went home on 9 days of some antibiotics. Sorry to say but. I won't be going back thereMore

Stopped in on a Snowy day after some Christmas Shopping. Had a great lunch, my wife had the Ruben and I enjoyed the patty melt. The server was friendly, checked to see if they had beer, I was interested in. They did not have it....During the course of our visit, the keg was delivered and she promptly let me know. I really appreciate that. The beer list is always a highlight of my visit to the Yarde Tavern.More
