I love these donuts - better than Krispy Kreme (sorry) Fresh, tons of varities. - bluebarry, strawberry, traditional glazed. Expect a wait on the weekend.

We really enjoyed our warm bagels. This is a family owners and operated bakery. The food is made daily and is reasonably priced.

Some of the best donuts in the area. They are CASH ONLY and they do have a drive thru window which I thought was cool or you can walk inside and pick out your donuts. I got a hot coffee which was great and an apple fritter which was bursting with apple flavor. My friend picked up a bag of different pastries. All were gooy yumminess.

Great Bagels

Flanders Donut has consistently delicious bagels. There are other bagel shops closer but this one has the best.

Open early for fishing crowd

I have been by way before a fishing trip. Not all donuts are out but they are in there baking. Older woman still runs it unfortunately her husband has passed. Cash only and offers much more than donuts. Their bagels are not my favorite but some of the other pastries are worth trying. Try a muzzie!

Something about their bagels.....

This is a little mom/pop place known as a local favorite. There is only takeout, no seating. But their bagels are the best, slightly crunchy on the outside, moist and chewy inside. The spinach garlic bagel is the best, topped with egg and cheese- even better. Their is a good selection of donuts that look fresh made. Their apple turnovers, Apple Betty and elephant ears look yummy! I have not been able to get past the bagels yet to try anything else but based on their lines in the morning, everything is probably up to par. There are also some meAt and cheese breads similar to calzones. Staff are always pleasant too.

every morning when my dad goes out, and he asks me what I want for breakfast? I always say a muzzie from flanders bagel donut and bake shop. these are very good and highly recommended. this place is close to where I live. they have a drive up window. they also have mighty good looking donuts.

Crazy Good Donuts

My wife and I like to look for local donut shops when we travel. Even if we are only staying overnight somewhere we'll make a point to try and find local donuts for breakfast, get a dozen or half dozen, and taste test them. We'll leave the rest for later that night or breakfast the next day or toss them depending on how we feel about them. We've done this up and down the east coast and out west a bit. We're fans of Sugar Shack donuts in the Richmond area, we really like Sweetwater's Donut Mill in the Kalamazoo area near where we reside in Michigan and there's a place in Denver that has a killer cherry donut. By far the best donuts we've had have been from Flanders Donut and Bake Shop. To illustrate this we drove from Michigan to Port Hope, Ontario this past summer to visit some filming location for IT. We were there for a couple days and then said to ourselves - you know, we're half way to Flanders Donuts - so we drove to Connecticut. That's how good these donuts are. (one of our favorite things is to get Flanders Donuts and then go to the Book Barn but that's another review.) In November of last year we went to NYC to see a Broadway show before my wife had to fly to Florida for a while and she made her reservations from Hartford airport, why? So we could get Flanders Donuts before she left. Are we crazy? Debatable. Are the donuts from Flanders Donuts and Bake Shop crazy good? Yes. Yes they are. Bring cash, they don't take cards, but it's worth it!

Old school donut shop

Any time I get the chance to stop here before work, I do. The donuts are always fresh and delicious, and always a hit at work. Not expensive and worth the money, the only "down side" is they accept CASH ONLY.

Good bagels and donuts

Freshly made and out of this world!

This is a hopping place filled with freshly made doughnuts and baked goods. Our family tried the doughnuts, apple turnovers, bagels, and muffins. Fantastic! If given the option, I think my teens would eat there several mornings a week! Much fresher than chain doughnuts! Well worth a try.
