Good Thai in small settings

This restaurant is proof that sometimes, the smaller restaurants really do have better food. This small, cozy restaurant looks unassuming from the outside but serves excellent-quality food for decent prices. Everything on the menu looked so good that it was hard to decide what to order. The crispy tofu, lemongrass chicken, and drunken noodles were all fantastic. Their takeout portions are the size of the dine-in portions, which isn't typical for all restaurants. Staff were polite - not overly friendly, but it's also not their job to be your friend.

Attitude problem

The food was ok but I didn’t appreciate the rude woman who seated us. There is no excuse for rudeness and it’s cramped and loud also not the cleanest place I’ve eaten at.

Best Drunken Noodles in the Area!!!!

LTK - Darien is my favorite restaurant for Drunken Noodles & Pad Thai. The Thai Iced Tea....Excellent! I bring my friends from out of town for lunch and LTK does not disappoint. We are all regulars when we crave authentic Thai. Yummy!!!!

Horrible! Mushy fried rice, Just a waste of time and money. Chicken satay was a joke - an over cooked chicken cutlet plopped on a plate? I used to love this place but it has gone down hill .

I visited for lunch, and the quality of food and service was excellent. Great value too. Usually you get small portions and not the jumbo top quality shrimp for lunch but not at LTK. Definitely worth a visit.

A snow day feast

One of the few places open this snow day and glad it was a fan of Thai food ...especially curry dishes we tried the coconut curry chicken with large chunks of carrots and onions and potato and delicious yellow curry with brown rice so good .. We also had the vegetable spring rolls and shrimp with a tangy Hot dipping sauce.. A lovely menu and if you want the lunch special which we did al a carte the lunch menu is $7.99 with two choices... Very satisfying...and good wines

We live nearby and often drop in or order takeout. Tonight we ordered a couple of our favorites: the chicken with green curry and mango Thai chicken, with steamed pork dumplings as an appetizer. The dumplings are light and tasty. The mango chicken and the green curry both have lots of flavor, and a little spicy but not too spicy. Really good.

Tasty Thai

We stopped at LTK on our way to Foxwoods. The food was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's a small place with a modern casual décor. The only negative is that the restaurant had an odd smell when we walked in. It wasn't enough to scare us away and I'm glad we stayed.

Best dining in Darien!

The lunch special is to die for. Everything here is delicious, especially the curry puffs and shrimp pad thai! Very attentive and friendly staff. They also have a location in Greenwich, the Darien one is just bigger. Highly recommend for lunch with friends or family.

A small gem with great food

I came here with a group of friends for dinner and was so happy with the food. It was high quality ingredients with a broad selection at reasonable prices. They also give spicy options. Highly recommended.

Ripped me off

It’s rare that I feel so ripped off that I give such a negative review. But I honestly just got totally scammed by Little Thai Kitchen that I feel like others need to know. Happens to be my wife’s birthday, she wanted thai and to stay in. I order on their website and receive a confirmation email. The email says it can take from 45 to 90 minutes. About 75 minutes in I call just to make sure it’s on the way, and the guy who answers tells me they’re closed and they never received the order. Ok - they apparently don’t run the website, so maybe accidents happen. But he doesn’t offer to bring us a meal, he doesn’t offer to help me get my money back, and despite me noting twice that he doesn’t much seem to care, he never once apologized. So I spent $38 and never got my food. Worse, he really didn’t care. I won’t be back.

If you have a book or work to do and aren't starving, a good place to go, especially if you like soups (their's are delicious). Casual, a down-to-earth place with a comfortable, chic if simple modern decor.
