A real step back in time to see the inside of this little diner. It has kept it's character and the owner certainly kept us amused. Unfortunately the food was only average which was a shame. It's worth a visit though just to see an old time diner!

A colorful sign and the classic diner look made me pull in for breakfast. First mistake. A warm greeting was followed by what they did not have that morning. One, sausage, was an item wanted. A thought occurred, on a Saturday morning in October how could a responsible eatery not have all food items ready. My instinct said leave, I... More

I live near it,and has a great bunch of owners there too! The diner is historically said to have had every US President visit/eat there since Franklin D. Roosevelt. There used to be pictures and autographed such up to see,a museum-type display of all of them? Many a TV and movie used its location also. Lunch, one of my favorites! Say hi,to... More

Was on my way to Limerock Park for a day of school with Skip Barber. Found this diner on Trip Advisor and they opened at 6:30am so we could grab breakfast and still be on time for class at 8am. Walking in the front door takes you back to the stainless steel diners of the 50's. A mix of locals... More

We typically love diners and stopped at Collins on a Sunday afternoon. We both ordered Turkey Clubs. Came with fries. After putting in our order and waiting maybe 15 minutes we were told they ran out of turkey and only had frozen so asked if it was ok to add ham. It was fine with us but we thought it... More

Used to go to this diner more in the past, but the last couple of visits were average at best. The diner itself is really fantastic...worth a visit just to sit in this classic eatery, but don't expect much from the food. It was never great food, but it seems to have lost it's verve and there are lots better... More

Food came out quickly. While it wasn't the best meal I've ever had it certainly hit the spot especially since we were camping for the weekend so it was nice to have an actual breakfast. Would stop in again for breakfast.

Have driven by a few times & decided to stop in this morning because it's a really neat looking place next to an old train station & was expecting good basic diner fare. The regulars seem to be fairly nice local retirees. Sat down & looked for a menu, waitress walks by & I ask if those over there were... More

Being a diner lover, when I see one on my travels that looks unique, I try to stop in and have a bite to eat. On our way home from skiing, we did just that. This diner has loads of original features and will not disappoint if you're looking for authenticity. Although the ladie's room is not original, it was... More
