Went to Golden Lamb to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we could not have made a better choice! Everything about this wonderful place added to the enjoyment of our experience. Sitting out on the back deck sipping cocktails on a perfect June evening overlooking the property was an amazing way to start. Our server for the evening, Jackie, was attentive... More

We were there for lunch, seated outside on the deck, looking out over a field with donkeys and goats, and watching horses loll about (do horses loll?). The menu was excellent and varied, starting with a blueberry/prosecco spritzer and a good by-the-glass wine list (as well as full bottles, I presume), and delicious soups. One of our party had a... Where else can a party of 6 go, take a hayride (w/your drinks if you like); have complimentary appetizers and listen to piano music, while overlooking fields, trees, a pond, flora and fauna-not counting sheep, donkeys, and deer? Settle into your reserved table, have first course choices of soups/salads; then comes your pick of one of 4 special dinners prepared... More

Had lunch with my best guy today. This place is scenic, funky, and delicious. We had drinks on their expansive deck overlooking a beautiful farm complete with lambs. Their lunch menu is seasonal, and freshly prepared. I had their Hillandale Hash which was finely chopped beef tenderloin with sauteed celery and onions, with haricort verts and some golden garlic mashed... More

Just read review by evnthostess and can second just about everything she wrote (except we didn't have the hayride). Katie and the staff at The Golden Lamb are personable, professional, and perceptive. Rather than our having to ask questions about any of the aspects of having a bridal shower with guests of various ages, dietary restrictions, and allergies,Katie covered all... More

Our event was for a bridal shower with ~25 guests arriving from 4 different states, and few living near each other. These invitees all had fairly long rides to get there. But, while the restaurant is out of the way, the homelike atmosphere, yesteryear charm, beautiful surrounding grounds, service and food, as well as the restaurant history, ended up making... More

Started with a tractor pulled hay ride around the property, You wait in an area where they offer you cheese and crackers and push the drinks and explain the main course choices, After over 1/2 hour they showed us to our seats. The food was wonderfully prepared and presented, they continued to bring out side dishes throughout the meal. they... More

We enjoyed a wonderful family Easter dinner at the Golden Lamb Buttery. The level of personal service is terrific. You gather in the hall of an old barn and while enjoying cocktails and light appetizers, your personal server explains the menu options and takes your order. Then there is an option of a tractor ride around the property, which the... More

Family-owned, farm to table restaurant with great character, decor, views, service and food. Some nice wines such as Schlumberger Pinot Gris: Like Pinot Grigio, but interesting and flavourful. Places like this need to exist. Go there!
