Our family has been coming to this restaurant since the 1970's. We came last Saturday to celebrate my Mom's 88th birthday. My Dad loved the liver with bacon and onions and Mom's favorite is the Baked Scrod which she had that day. My husband and I shared the Crab Cake appetizer which was very good...loaded with crab meat. The entrees... More

I did not care for the food at all. It was tasteless. I went with my girlfriend and she said, "taste like hospital food". I was the one who suggested it. Embarrassing to say the least.

The Hearth is an old-time, old fashioned restaurant. Good prices, good food, good drinks. Everybody makes fun of the fact that it attracts older people. But the point is the customers are attracted to good, basic meals at good prices. Meals with soup or salads, mashed potatoes, vegetables - the way a lot of restaurants were 25 years ago. This... I have driven by this place for years and finally stop for dinner. First I was worried as the interior is very dated. But the food is really good. Soup was onion and tasted great. We had the prime rib, a little over done but very good. The kids meals were good. Wait staff was friendly and food came out... More

If you enjoy a good, home cooked meal, this is the place. The prime rib served during the weekend is always cooked to order. It is a quiet restaurant which makes dinner more enjoyable.

I have lived nearby this restaurant for many years but never actually ate here. I always felt it was a restaurant for senior citizens so I never stopped in, until this past Saturday and boy am I glad I did. The decor, ambiance, waitresses uniforms, etc., are a blast from the past. The dark wood paneling, the smaller water glasses,... More

We have gone to The Heath for years to enjoy their good food and reasonable prices but lately something is making us question whether we should find a new place to eat - stinky waitresses! There are a number of the older women serving customers that cover themselves in the most God awful perfume from the 1930s. It immediately takes... More
