I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and it was by far the best dish I have ever had. It was tasty, quick service. Amazing heat, I could eat it once a week. And the Thai tea cut the heat well.

They have really good southeast Asian food, whenever I have a chance to go back to Bridgeport, I’d stop by the shop to order some food to bring with me. Still need to complete the whole menu since I tend to order same stuff. Overall,...I miss their food.More
Happy to come across this restaurant... their currys are great but I really enjoy their noodles in soups which often isn’t on many Thai menus. Definitely worth trying. Nice staff.
The red curry is spectacular. Those amazing Curry puffs should be known worldwide..... Their service is absolutely impeccable. Nice people incredible food try to eat there as often as possible God this place is good........can't say enough nice things about this place in their food...it's so amazing makes me want to eat there every night I wish they lived in my basement so I could just eat that always.....More
Thai cuisine is one of our family favorites. We have eaten in many Thai restaurants all over the world (minus Thailand). This family-run, unassuming restaurant has the best Thai food IMO.
I had lunch here with a group of friends and was really impressed with the quality of the food. I had two very tasty Thai spring rolls with a nice dipping sauce followed by an absolutely delicious Massaman curry with pork, probably the best Massaman...that I ever had. The restaurant is not large nor fancy, but the service is excellent. It does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. I'd say this is definitely worth a special trip if you are interested in having some really excellent Thai food.More
We had takeout from this place. From the outside, it looks like a typical corner shop restaurant. The interior has some tables and is very clean but basic. But the food is absolutely awesome. Aside from their vast menu, there is a whole page of...lunch specials. These include various soups, spring rolls, etc. plus an entree. I got the spring roll starter....there were two of them!!!! Delicious, with a great sweet dipping sauce. We got Pad Thai and drunken noodles to share. The portions were huge, and they didn't skimp on either the noodles or the toppings. Check this place out, you'll love it.More
Driving through Bridgeport on a rainy night our party of 5 found ourselves at Ruuthai's Kitchen for dinner. The restaurant is small, bright and welcoming. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. The food was the biggest surprise, we ordered 6 dishes; appetizers, soup, pad thai and...other recommended items. It was great. We did not want spicy food and all the dishes were cooked to our request. All the dishes were tasty and no two were alike. This is truly a hidden gem. It would be a regular go to if we lived nearby. They do not have a liquor license but they accommodate BYOB.More
Always arrives faster than expected with delivery. The people who deliver are always very friendly and kind. The food is outstanding. It’s one of those places where I’ve gotten the same thing EVERY time because it’s SO GOOD. Their drunken noodles have a nice kick...even when ordered mild. Ordered medium for heat the first time and my mouth was on fire, but it was still super delicious. Definitely have to try their drunken noodles and curry chicken puffs. The curry chicken puffs are life changing.More
They close at noon time till like 4-4:30 pm I believe, so if you’d like to go, try to go after 4:30 pm in case you missed it. Love their pad Thai (can ask them if you want it spicy or spicier), their Thai ice...tea is banging <3, sometimes I got curry from them, I love all of the curry meals so can’t really say which one is the best...More
I have never had a bad meal at Ruuthai and I have tried everything on the menu. Very authentic, great tastes, and you can get it as hot as you want or no heat at all. Highly recommended.
So outstandingly fresh, bright and flavorful. The best Thai food in the Westport/Fairfield/Bridgeport area by leaps and bounds. Possibly the best Pad Thai I've ever had except in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The people who work here are incredibly kind and friendly, and the food was...just as good when delivered as it was in-house. A true gem.More
It is a great little gem. From the appetizers of Thai Chicken Satay, Grilled marinated beef and Thai Spring Rolls to the main course of Massaman Curry Shrimp, Crabcake special, Salmon special and Pad Ka Praw all was delicious and well prepared. service also excellent...and you are not rushed.More
Great food and friendly service in a casual restaurant. I had the lemongrass soup which had so much flavor. Also the sausage appetizer with the beef app. I also tried the curry noodles and the fried rice which were great. I loved my sons order...of the spicy duck best of all. You always see city officers while there. That is a huge tip-off that the food is good.More
Went to Thailand less than a year ago, and this place makes me feel like I'm on vacation again, except it's BETTER than a lot of the food I had in Thailand. The food here is like when you are going to one of the...best Thai restaurants in Thailand. Just beware - they don't understand when you ask for a spicy dish to be made "mild". it just comes out slightly less deathly spicy, but still quite spicy. Also - get the mussels pancake. Just do it.More
