I have to say. Nice small place crowds not loud for a Saturday evening. Food was excellent service was spot on. Prices just ok. Yes I would revisit. Enjoy.

Rustic looking place, drinks are little pricey. For bbq place when entering the place you could smell smoke from the Bbq good signals. We had 3 course meal for 4 people. Wanted to taste everything they had. Lots of food the appetizers we had were...More

Walrus and Carpenter is a smallish, romantic little restaurant with friendly, helpful servers and owners who really care about your experience. It is, however, in a slightly out-of-the-way part of town. It's location aside, it is a "Must-Go-To" restaurant. As many reviewers will attest, any...More

The food is really tasty and it’s a nice bar. I recommend pig nachos, pulled pork sandwich, the WC burger, and THE FRENCH FRIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Walrus + Carpenter is a fun spot in an area of Bridgeport that has been gentrifying over the years. Walrus + Carpenter seems like it could just as easily be in Brooklyn. The drinks menu is extensive- with lots of Beer, Bourbon and Innovative Cocktails....More

On June 1st we went to the restaurant to celebrate a wonderful event (high school graduation). The food was really good and the place had rustic feel to it. The menu is like a marriage between southern comfort food and a back yard barbecue ....More

We saw this restaurant featured on the Food Network and immediately added it to our list. Outstanding oysters and steamed mussels. Be prepared for a wait, but it is absolutely worth it!
