I went there for some Brazilian food is a Brazilian national I don’t live in Bridgeport. I walked in I thought it was going to be Brazilian waiters it was all Spanish-speaking did not have all the Brazilian food they had shirts with the American...flag in Brazilian flag and they’re calling traditional Brazilian food no. I am on a food business specially Meat. For them to be prepping the chicken and the beef right next to each other it’s a healthy violation. To me is fake.More

First visit to Pantanal for a Sunday brunch at their buffet. Tasty food at a low price. Approaching the restaurant you can smell the flavors coming off the grill so your mouth be watering by the time you get to the door. A bustling restaurant...with a big take out business. Parking in the restaurant lot is limited so had to park on the street. You pay by the pound for your plates of food. Two people can get totally full for less than $20! Will repeat.More

I love this place! It has excellent service and food. They have a buffet and a salad bar that you can select from. At the end of the "L" shaped buffet line, there is a "meat carving grill station" in which you can have the...cook cut and serve you as many meat pieces as you want. This will include steaks, ribs, chicken, brisket, pork, etc. Even thou this restaurant seems to be full all day, there are plenty of seats to choose from both inside/out. The food is sold by the pound. Parking is the only inconvenience.More

My meal was awesome. I did not care for the oxtails as they were tough. Overall the meats and the greens were excellent. Place was crowded and clean. Prices average too.

The pantanal restaurant located in bpt,Ct on frank St, food is OK. Their attitude's suck and they are always cleaning off the counter's when your trying to fix your plate. Super gross and annoying. Smfh. Their prices are Ok too.

Various types of greens and dressings to choose from. 2-3 different rice, rice and bean combos. And of course protein (meats), 6-7 different kinds. Lunch line style. You'll be asked whether or not you want the fat trimmed off, for those who are not looking...for gristle. Soft drinks and variety of bottled beer. The ambiance is mediocre. Typically after 12:30 there is a rush and 10 minute wait. All in all a great food experience but the eating area lacks. This is definitely an in and out type of restaurant.More

This place really knows how to do it right. Nothing fancy, just a sumptuous buffet of Brazilian/LATAM foods at a very reasonable price. Do not miss the chicken.

I like this place. Whenever I get a craving for Brazilian and a Sound Tigers hockey game I come here. Buffet style. Don't be afraid to ask what's going on or what the dish is. All the girls working there are helpful and friendly. The...parking isn't very good and a redneck hick like me has no problem jamming his truck into a spot. My farm girl girlfriend is a bit afraid to get out of the vehicle tho (hint to those who aren't used to Bridgeport or a city). My first time there a few years back I wasn't sure how I was going to park and walk to the restaurant. But, the smoke smell coming from the building urged me to carry on. Now, I'm a pro. Eat ! See a hockey game or go to bass pro. Oh, they opened up a Pantanal Ranchero in a better location. Maybe you'd prefer that one over the Frank Street location.More
