We had been been to the Waiting Station a couple years ago and were meeting friends in Branford again.Of course we went back to the Waiting Station. We were not disappointed. Wonderful full tomato bisque soup. Sandwich selections were superb.. I had an egg salad sandwich with bacon, the new favorite flavor of choice, on a croissant. Too big to... More

Just like home, but MUCH better. They are super friendly and I enjoy the old school, home-like vibe. You really cannot get a better breakfast in the area.

This is a little cafe right on Branford's main drag, across from the green. It's simply decorated, and feels more like an old-school diner than a modern bistro. The women who work there are so friendly and funny and awesome, it feels like your grandma is serving you breakfast. The food is fantastic, the menu has lots of great options,... More

Still trying to find my favorite breakfast place in town, so naturally my feet led me here eventually. Small place, seasoned (old), but well kept and quiet at this time of day. Friendly service, that avoided direct eye contact and free choice of seating. Standard menu is small, majority is on the board for choices. I opted for simply 2... More

We came to this place based on reviews after hoping around different breakfast joints in the area. The area is beautiful and we were able to sit by the large window. The inside is decked out like an average mom and pop breakfast nook, small tables, local art and pictures on the wall of family and the town. The specialty... More

Sit by the big front window on a sunny morning, watch the world go by outside, and listen to the warm sweet hum of conversation inside. This is a gem of a place: home-made muffins and omelettes and good coffee along with plenty of customers who have been coming here for years. The waitresses are kind and attentive. It's hard... A local favorite with fresh ingredients used in a creative menu. Small and homey with art for sale on the walls and photos and articles about the restaurant and town. Dolores and her staff make you feel part of the family

This small mom/daughter run restaurant is a hidden gem that should not be missed. Everything is made on premise, including the daily selection of amazing muffins. The specials are always really creative, and often "Italian inspired" (think cheesy polenta topped with fresh sauteed crumbled sausage and veggies). Because everything is made to order, asking for special food accommodations never seems... More

We love this place! We used to live in this neighborhood. We can't get the way they prepare breakfast on other restaurants anymore!
