One of the few places in Branford to dine near/on the water. Nice view of Branford river and Ospreys while enjoying outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and professional. Burgers, wraps, salads. Had the best tomato of the summer on my burger. Would return again.

We were looking for a place by the water to have dinner after being in Branford during the day. Found Nellie Greens on Tripadvisor and read the reviews. We were so glad we had stopped by after having great drinks, the fresh platter of shrimp, clams, oysters and ceviche, fantastic Grilled Scallops and the tasty Lobster sliders. The service and... Atmosphere in summer on deck is what makes this place! We like the breakfast food there! Last time we went we were seated during breakfast hours and were kept waiting 20 min to see a waitress, they weren't busy... We asked busser and still waited 10. She was rude and said sorry breakfast is over, we said we were waiting... More

New American cuisine does not belong in a shoreline restaurant that is at a boatyard. We need a good boaters menu, that includes your typical fried seafood, burgers and dogs. at the very least, they should offer a "boaters menu" take out of these things, they'd certainly increase their business.

How lovely to sit on the waterfront with friendly service and good food. Seafood is the thing to keep in the spirit. Beautiful outdoor deck not to be missed. And an illicit past for the restaurant during prohibition.

We had a surprise 90th birthday party at Nellie Greens on July 10, 2016. All the food was cooked and served by their exceptional servers... Several members of the party said they would definitely want to come back. Thanks to the entire staff for making it special...

Small, casual, riverside restaurant at a marina. Beautiful atmosphere on the rear patio along the river. Food is excellent, with cheerful, attentive wait staff. Their fish taco's are superb! Seating is limited, reservations are a must for weekends. Great summertime atmosphere to relax and enjoy the surroundings with a drink, great food, and boating crowd.

It locates on the industrial warehouse area. Food is overpriced and portions are small. We ordered take out and felt cheated. Don't eat at the place!!!!!

We went for happy hour and while the bar is very small they let us either sit outside or inside for Happy hour. Appetizer's were great and sharable. Everything was great, drinks and food. Would definitely recommend it.

It's located in a marina and has views of the water and boats with an outside patio. It can be hard to find with all the large boats in the yard.
