This place is a gem in Woodland Park. The restaurant is owned and operated by the mayor of Woodland Park and we found that amazing! He was walking around and talking to the guests and it felt very welcoming. I highly suggest reservations. We almost did not get a table because we didn't have reservations.

We'd booked a table for two at the Swiss Chalet last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. I'll admit that our expectations were low, as Woodland Park isn't known for its gastronomic delights. So we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. My spouse started with the escargot, which he said didn't knock his socks off, but was... More

This attractive restaurant was one of the ones recommended by the owners of the cabin we rented in Woodland Park. We stopped there on a Saturday night after a day of sightseeing - that included a high country jeep tour. So, we were not dressed up, and the hostess took obvious note of that when she asked if we had... More

We drove up for the prime rib special and ended up ordering much more. The Fondue appetizer was good but be sure to order the apples and pears to go with the bread. The prime rib was very good, with a very nice serving size. The wine menu is good, with a more than adequate selection that included some good... More

The menu and wine list are varied, unusual, and cooked to perfection. One of the best, if not THE best, meals we have eaten in 17 years in Colorado. We lived in Germany for several years and thought the meals we chose here were excellently prepared. We had the Wienerschnitzel and Jagerschnitzel dinners with spaetzle butter noodles-- outstanding! If you... More

The Swiss Chalet is really a good restaurant in every respect. It's very handsome with its understated and cozy Swiss theme. It's quiet enough for good conversation. They offer enough of a variety of dishes that anyone could eat there. The service and welcome are terrific. The prices, while not cheap eats, are reasonable for the quality and freshness. And,... The Swiss Chalet offers the very best dining in our area. Offering many different menu items from savory steaks to fresh seafood. I go to the restaurant at least twice a week with family and clients. I also have the Swiss Chalet cater my Broker Open Houses. The Swiss Chalet also has accommodations above the restaurant which are very very... More

My wife and I had dinner here and the food was excellent and at a good price. If you like food with an authentic German/Swiss flavor, The Swiss Chalet delivers.

Fine dining above the clouds but can be more casual if you wish... The service is what all service should be. We come back any time we're in town.

We pulled over on our drive back to Colorado Springs in the pouring rain and happened to walk into one of the best restaurants in our trip. The server was very knowledgable about the menu and has great suggestions. Food was excellent.
