Went here on a Thursday night and it was a good experience. Let me share the review in the below categories: 1) Atmosphere - great! Small cozy table inside with a view outside. Rustic feel made it seem like a mix of old Italy and...Winter Park CO. We loved it. 2) Service - ok! This was the third higher end restaurant we ate at while in CO and the service was the slowest of the three. Would suggest watching the glasses a little more often and checking for other needs. Staff was super friendly but just lots of wait time. We noticed more wait time in all restaurants lately but this one was just longer. 3) Quality / Taste - good! the wagyu meatballs with arrabiata polenta was absolutely the bomb! I highly recommend. Lasagna was also good, but the smoked chicken fettuccine was lacking seasoning and was a little bland. Also got the cheesecake and maybe we are used to a sweeter desert but this one was also a tiny bland. It would have been great for those who don’t like sweet desserts. 4) Cost - affordable! We got out of there with a reasonable bill so no major complaints. We would go back in a heartbeat but just try some different dishes. Check it out if you are in the area.More
My husband and I visiting Colorado from Philly, PA cause we visit MLB Ballparks, decided to travel through Rocky Mountain National Park for our anniversary and spend night in Winter Park.(1st time visit) Took a chance when we saw “Italian” and this place did not...disappoint. Food delicious but the top notch friendly service was what put this place over the top for us! After telling Hostess it was our 1st time in Winter Park and 11th Anniversary, she came over with a champagne toast right after we were seated! How lovely and nice surprise! Lauren, our waitress picked up where the hostess left off and was so friendly and instantly became our favorite waitress in recent history! Fabulous experience from beginning to end!More
Great atmosphere next to stream. Indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone loved their food!! Great service.
Stuart was simply amazing And the food was incredible. A definite must while visiting Winterpark. Great ambience.
Absolutely fantastic!!! Everything was wonderful and the wine pairings from Lisa were to die for. Make sure to try the mushroom pizza.
Our go to spot for fresh WP Italian food. The lasagna is heavenly! All homemade pastas make a hungry belly happy!
Wow! My son and I were really not dressed for this beautiful restaurant since we just finished skiing, but the staff made us feel at home and served us delicious food! The best meal all weekend!
Wish I could rave about our experience. Everyone nice, service fine. Food was okay not fabulous. After spending $400 for 6 of us, we wanted dessert and we asked for coffee and were told they had none. Inexcusable for a restaurant that’s supposed to be in...this league. Staff should have known this before service. Run to the grocery store. Very disappointed.More
We had an amazing culinary experience at Volario's! We had the specials octopus appetizer and a seafood dish as an entree - delish. I also had the Bolognese and the children had spaghetti and giant (wagyu) meatballs. They partner with Devils Thumb for their Wagyu...and it's outstanding ... They don't have a detailed wine list but a couple of signature drinks and the basics. I highly recommend for couples or family (and with Covid - even takeout would be worth it).More
We traveled to Winter Park to celebrate a family anniversary and because of covid precautions, no one really wanted to go out to eat. We looked at a variety of nicer take-out options in the area and picked Volario's. So glad we did!! We ordered...a bunch of pizza and appetizers. The food was wonderful, everything was as ordered and on-time, and the restaurant manager was incredibly responsive. Looking forward to going back and dining in.More
While staying at the incredible Devil’s Thumb Ranch, COVID has limited on-site dining options for the abundant guests. Our party of four was directed to Volario’s in Winter Park and the experience was truly delightful. The Northern Italian menu was rich in choices and flavors...from great meatball appetizer to wonderful gelato and sorbet options for dessert. The pastas are homemade the sauces are terrific. Indoor and outdoor (with heaters) dining are available and parking is easy. Service was great and very personable. Great experience and a very enjoyable night out for our party of four!!More
We had a lovely experience here. The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. We had the carbonara and bolognese- both were so delicious! Ambiance is on point and we appreciated the varieties offered on the wine list. We will be back!
We stayed at Devil's Thumb who could not accommodate us for dinner because one of their two restaurants is closed, so we they suggested we try Volario's. This is a pizza and pasta restaurant, not an upscale northern Italian restaurant. We had a reservation but...were told that sitting outside was first come first serve. We sat in the bar area overlooking a booster seat and COVID facemarks. They could do better with the decor. A glass of wine costs at least $13.More
Hello Julie and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While reservations are required for both indoor and outdoor seating, patio seating can be requested at the time of your reservation but is not guaranteed due to availability, weather, etc. We were...More
Dinner was mediocre. We were in a pizza mood & thought we would try it. They screwed up the toppings. Then tried take out and they wouldn't do that until really late. This is owned by a wealthy group & obviously they just do not...care.More
Thank you for sharing your constructive feedback. We apologize for the mixup, but hopefully you appreciated our kind and accomodating staff. We regret our take-out was backed up when you tried to place your order. Just like dine-in service, we allot a certain amount of...More
