We just went here for brunch. We had never thought of this place as a brunch place, but we decided to try it out because we saw a Groupon for brunch. It far exceeded our expectations. First, the food. We had three people in our party who all ordered three different dishes. None of the dishes we ordered were "traditional"... More
Took some good friends there on the weekend - what a knockout menu! We each had something different and all LOVED the food. The drink specials are great for brunch too (bloody mary, bellinis, and "mule" concoctions), and that made it a really special Sunday event. I'd hoped to provide a special experience for them and it was. Also have... More
I recently had the privilege of eating at Abrusci's for the very first time based upon a recommendation by the hotel staff of where I was staying. I was very impressed!! I had the lasagna dish, which was not only delicious, but the portion size was out of this world. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone interested in... More
Went here for a dinner and was happy to see that they post their servers will per the sign on the door. We ordered waters which the waitress, Heather, seemed a but out of by. We also ordered the cheese ravioli as an appetizer. Then we ordered the famous rigatoni and sausage, spaghetti and meatballs, and the artesian romaine salad... More
First off, the food was fabulous. We had the signature Rigatoni with sausage and Chicken Parmesan and 4 cheese mac n cheese, as well as salad, bread and a bite-size assortment of desserts that everyone raved about. The room was perfectly ready, and beautifully lit with strings of white lights. The service was great and the whole experience was painless... More
I'm not saying that the food isn't good, because many people like it, but the food isn't traditional Italian (I grew up with a real Italian grandmother and mother). The sauce isn't the kind that is simmered all day. It's more of tomatoes and onions put in with the pasta. My kid got the mac n cheese and it was... More
Easily located, ample free parking, typical large Italian family restaurant, fully stocked bar, professionally courteous staff and excellent food. Their Sunday brunches are to die for. Only fly in the ointment is their policy of adding a 10% tip to the bill WITHOUT your prior consent. I find this OBNOXIOUS here and elsewhere. For this reason only, I will not... More

With reference to our visit to Abrusci's on 8/7/15 with a review posted on 8/15/15 I would like to know if other customers have had a similar experience to ours and if so have Abrusci's ever responded to the complaints and "made things right" with their customers? It would also be interesting to receive comments from staff members about the poor food and especially about the newly introduced "mandatory tipping" that has been forced onto customers. Sincerely Paul B.
