First time here......and probably our last. I had heard so many good comments about the place I guess we expected more. We both got the fish and "whale chips". I presumed it would be french fries but is was not, more like fried potato chips...which neither of us liked. The fish was very bland and the cole slaw was tough and almost bitter tasting. For what we got I think it was way over priced. The good about the restaurant is our very pretty server could not have been any nicer and took good care of us and offered to replace my meal but unfortunately we were pressed for time and couldn't do it. Also, the bathroom was spotless which is a good indicator the kitchen is too. The place was packed so get here early.More

The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was amazing. There was 4 of us and each dish was agreed to be amazing! The scallops were perfectly cooked!! Oysters rocked! Definitely would recommend and we will be back for more fresh seafood! Sorry no...pics, we didn't even give the food a chance, but it looked as good as it tasted.More

I went to this fish market and restaurant before and I thought, okay they are letting me hangout inside with my shirt off, they have a couple dogs hanging out in the indoor patio area. Must a cool place. How many restaurants can you go...into with your shirt off after a 4 mile hike for a cool beverage and still get served? The next time I arrive, I order a beer and the owner says I cant stay as there are already a few people sitting and drinking drinks on the indoor patio. Weird that some customers can stay and drink while others cant... Someone comes over to help me out, she is totally clueless about any of the questions I ask her about her product. She asks the owner multiple questions, finally he comes over to take my order. He put my cooked shrimp in a bag, bags raw scallops, raw sword fish, raw tuna, in separate bags. He than puts my cooked shrimp together with my raw fish, stacks 2 beers on top of all the fish in one clear bag. WOW! $103 total for uncooked fish, cooked shrimp and 3 cans of beer, all in the same bag, beers on top of raw fish on top of cooked shrimp. The owner says he would put garlic butter inside for the swordfish. I ask him where i can drink my beers, outside, he says, these people inside aern't supposed to be drinking their drinks here. I drink my 2 beers outside of the restaurant. People are still drinking in the restauraunt but only select customers can drink inside?? After I finish my drinks of course the folks inside at the bar and now inside the patio are still drinking!!! I get home, NO garlic butter. I call leave a message with the lady who answered. I asked the owner to call me, no call back. I call later to speak with him and the they hangup on me. Won't be back to this place. In my opinion, unsafe, poor customer service, mediocre expensive food, with ownership that is not up to par.More

Family owned restaurant with fresh high quality seafood. The owner and family often come out and check to make sure patrons are satisfied. They also offer a small seafood counter for take home. For quality seafood they are price appropriately.

My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight at the recommendation of my coworker. We started off with the grilled calamari which wasn’t bad, but a little chewy. When I asked the waitress about the salmon that comes with Brock’s Entree she told me...“regular salmon” and further that it was from “Florida” and was not farmed. I was asking because I noticed that Alaskan king salmon was on their seasonal board. Because it was still unclear what type of salmon came with the dish, I went with the Caribbean snapper, as did my husband. Unfortunately, it was nothing special, especially considering the price. I will say it was cooked well, but that’s about it. Can’t we do better than plain white rice and broccoli for close to $30 per plate? It also had the texture of fish that has been frozen. Maybe it was our mistake to get the same dish. The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was delicious, but that’s certainly not what I came to this restaurant for. I’d like to give this place a second chance, but not anytime soon. Spruce in Boulder does a better job and for the same prices.More

Found this gem several years ago and glad I was able to return to the area. Started with Mussels and was very good. The rockfish was great. Only place I have ever found it.

This little gem located in a sleepy strip mall north of Denver is my gold standard for fresh seafood. It is also a market so all the offerings are in chilled glass cases for you to see. Several types of oysters, clams and other raw...bar items are delivered to your table on ice with lemon and the sauces that make them great. Try the lobster roll or the fish tacos.More

Wow what a gem hidden in a strip mall. Who knew that you could find such fresh seafood in Colorado. The lobster roll was fantastic. Never thought I would find one this good outside of Maine.

We had not been here for awhile. The chowder was good. Everyone liked all their entrees. Only problem was not great service. She was very friendly, and I think tried hard. She just had a few issues. Certainly as good as any fish place in...the Denver area.More

When we called for a Friday night, we were told they only take reservations for parties of 8 or more. We got there around 5:30pm and got right in. Starting at 6pm-ish, they were on a 45 minute - 1 hour wait.

I agree on the mid range price average. However if you take advantage of Happy Hour and weekends they sell Oysters for $1.00 each! That is a great value in comparison to Stoic & Genuine which average $3.50.
