went a couple years ago when they opened and was impressed. Recently went with the whole family (Yes, I'm 100 % polish) everyone has their favorite and still reminds me of my relatives cooking when they first arrived in our new country. All I can say is try this venue, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

After a long ski weekend, my husband and I returned to Denver and were in search of some hearty, warming food. Cracovia delivered! For lunch, we shared the combo platter for two. The sauerkraut and beetroot soups were both incredible; my half-Polish husband was quite impressed!! The next platter contained the cabbage rolls, pierogis, and the croquette (with cucumber and... Our family of 9 ordered 2 of the Variety Meals for 4 - and took home enough leftovers for another meal! Everyone started with soup - between us we tried 5 different soups and all were delicious! There were cabbage rolls and perogies and beet balls and on and on! We were stuffed - and then here came the platters... More

Over the past 10 years or so I've become a fan of Polish food. I'd had it before that but not in a restaurant. Since moving to the Midwest I've visited several Polish restaurants, including some in Chicago, Detroit and Petosky, MI (which has my favorite, The Polish Kitchen). Cracovia is definitely in my top 5 now. The restaurant is... More

This restaurant has a much wider variety of dishes than many of the other European restaurants in the Denver area. We have eaten here several times, and in addition to the dishes that I have posted pictures of (pierogi, schnitzel, pickle soup) we have tried the kielbasa, cabbage rolls, sausage and egg soup, sauerkraut soup, chicken de volaille, pyzy (pork... We came for an enjoyable late Sunday lunch. Not sure what to order the waitress suggested the platter for two. The cabbage rolls (golabki) were very tender, crisp tender cabbage and served with a mushroom gravy; the bbq ribs (zeberka) were fall-off-the bone tender, the sauce just the right amount of sweet; pierogi, 6 of them! topped with butter and... I really enjoyed the food here. First, food takes awhile because they are busy preparing it but the wait is worth it. This is more traditional of European restaurants, where the meal takes at least a couple of hours. I had the Stuffed Peppers and beetroot salad. I am not a fan of beets however the beetroot salad is killer,... More

We all grew up in Chicago, on the northwest side, and now we are spread all over the states. When visiting my brother in Colorado, he made it a point to take me to Cracovia Polish Restaurant, and I can (with all honesty) tell you that it is authentic and carries the wonderful Polish heritage cookery to a very high...
