The place was very busy and servers were great, the food was just not that good for the price.. I almost felt like they were trying too hard to make the food "fancy" but missed the mark. Probably wont go back even though the atmosphere is pleasant.
Dear Stoic, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Good bad or ugly we learn more quickly from guest feed back than any other way and we appreciate it. It is our goal to exceed each guests expectations and we obviously did not and for that you have my sincerest apologies. We would hope that you would... More
The waitress was fantastic the food was really good and prices are fair. We had been trying several places and ran across this place . I would tell anyone to give it a try as they won.t be disappointed . I don't recall our waitress name but she was great. May have been Taylor
What a great recommendation we had from a gal at a luggage store in Vail Village. She let us know where the locals go for a later breakfast. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The food and beverages were amazing and the service was so friendly, unrushed and sincere. We went twice in 2 days! The... More
Went there on a whim for breakfast and the food and service was outstanding. Had a server names Taylor that made the day I ordered two eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast and coffee and the tab come to $9.95--the breakfast beat any Bakers Square or Village Inn breakfast that I eaten-- come on you can't even park in Vail for... We had a delicious dinner there, although we hear it's very popular for breakfast and typically a wait to get in. Don't let the location next to DoubleTree hotel sway you. Food is extremely fresh and flavorful, spanning meat, seafood and healthy foods such as hummus and great salads. Service is extraordinarily friendly and personable. Venue has high ceilings and... There may be a blizzard outside but inside it's warm, cozy and delicious. The men opted for biscuits and gravy, good but slightly different from our southern version. Thumbs up on eggs and hash browns. Burger lover was happy and couldn't quite finish the generous patty. For me, sensational fried catfish po boy with slaw on the side. Filet was... More
We visit Vail often and Westside is always a go to restaurant, esp for breakfast and casual dining. great attentive service, solid food and reasonably priced choices (hard to find in the Mts). Dont let all the construction on the old Holiday Inn (converting to Double Tree) scare you off. parking is still easy and convenient. the crowds, esp locals,... More
We live in Colorado Springs; so, we don't get to Vail very often -- usually for a week or two of skiing during the winter. However, whenever we do visit Vail, we always eat 2 or 3 of our meals at the Westside Cafe. Their menu says their food is "Authentic American Comfort Food"; however, what they do with it... More
