My boyfriend and I went there for dinner, and sat outside on the patio. He had the jagerschnitzel which was entirely authentic to what you would find in Germany. Short review, but there is not much more to say. The service was good and we would go back given the chance. Definitely a good place to go for authentic German... More

The German food and desserts are lovely but we loved the classic French fondue so much. Lovely little restaurant!

Oliver and the rest of the staff at Alpenrose are all absolutely amazing! I actually discovered the Alpenrose tent at the Dillon farmers market a couple Fridays ago. If you want a delicious, perfect pastry (in my opinion) in Vail Valley - this is the place to go. Honestly I prefer Oliver's pastries over my favorite bakery in Denver. It's... More

Just had a $9 piece of strudel from here. I wouldn't have minded paying that much for such a small piece if it was any good, but unfortunately it wasn't. Very disappointing!

My husband and I went to dinner here on a Friday night. I was raised in a German household and I know authentic german food. We had bratwurst, spaetzle, jaeger schnitzel, and red cabbage. The food was not very hot and was not tasty. We did not finish it. The service was mediocre. If you like good german food, I... More

The food was great we ordered the Panko crusted baked Brie with preserves and a Caesar Salad. Sitting outside in Vail Village was relaxing and it was the perfect Weather. The waiters were extremely slow and were unprofessional standing by the bakery vignette talking. I did not get the names but the lady was rude and should not be working... More

Really nice patio to enjoy drinks after a day of skiing. Casual enough to come in your ski clothes. Good drink options.

Low key ambience with high quality dining. We had the salad plate, cheeses plate and cold meat platter. All was excellent as well as the service. Great location.

What a great place for an afternoon lunch in Vail. The waitstaff is excellent and the food is just right! The are always spot on in their recommendations for food and dessert pairings.
