About
Los Amigos, Vail's oldest Mexican restaurant, offers fine Mexican dining at reasonable prices for both lunch and dinner. Los Amigos has been anchored at the top of Bridge Street since 1972. With Vail Villages best view of the slopes, winter and summer, Los Amigos' outside deck is always occupied with folks having a margarita watching skiers trying one last plunge down Pepi's Face or watching their kids play at Pirate Ship Park. Among our veteran staff, we draw inspiration from our Hispanic kitchen who have created unique authentic Mexican dishes like Steak Tacos: a delicious blend of sauteed diced sirloin steak, cilantro, onions in white corn tortillas with special tomatilla sauce. My husband and I had the classic Margaritas and a Chimichanga. They were delicious! Maybe the crispiest Chimichanga I have ever had. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Great view of the gondola. Staff was very nice and service was very quick.

I had the chicken wings as a snack and they were good. The atmosphere was great with the mountain and ski lift right there.

A wonderful place for lunch or dinner. It the weather is nice, their patio is the place to eat. The food is spicy, but will not melt your tongue. We can recommend the Torta, the Tostada and the Street Tacos. They are all really good....It all the way back into the Vail Village and a little tricky to find. But you can eat and watch the ski lifts running up the mountain.More

A nice change of pace from the other spots in Vail. Good food and a fair price. Service was good and the tacos were excellent. Good bar options also.

If you like overpriced crappy Mexican food this is the place for you. My son and i had carne asada burritos that were sub par. The tortilla was so stale and the carne flavorless. The server was also as lame as the food. Never got...our chips and salsa or an offer for a drink refill. Annoying waste of $50. Won’t be back!More

We had dinner here. Did chips and guacamole to start. The guacamole was bland with little taste and the salsa was similar. Both of our meals were mediocre at best. Tasted like they ran out of seasoning. Our server was really nice, but could tell...the place was short staffed.More

After a simply wonderful day of skiing my wife and I were tired but my daughter and her friend had a few more ski runs left in them. We headed to Amigos and had a great view of the mountain, watching skiers come in. My...wife had a couple of excellent margaritas and I had some great draft beer. The chicken pozole soup was so delicious. The staff was friendly and dogs were allowed on the outdoor patio. We would definitely return!More

Best place to catch some rays, relax and recharge before hopping back on Gondola one. Los Amigos was our go to place . Best to get there for early lunch just shy of noon before it gets to crowded as outside tables fill up first...when warmer outside. Had the fish tacos but envied the larger sizzling fajita entrees . Dad and son frequented the restaurant 3 time in five days.More

Spent a wonderful afternoon with a friend drinking and eating. Very comfortable atmosphere at the base of gondola one, and convenient for ski-in. Jenny served our table and was absolutely phenomenal. She has a fabulous taste in high quality tequila, very knowledgeable about the menu,...and overall, has a fantastic personality. I would highly recommend a “chefs/servers choice” on the menu, as these guys know what’s best for food as well. The tacos were delicious, that we had to order twice! If you don’t come for the atmosphere, or the food, then come for the service.More

The staff was very friendly and they had a great outdoor seating area. We rated it average as nothing stood out as really good. The margaritas were ok. Our son had the Carne Asada burrito and said it was good. Our beef burrito and the...fish tacos were about average.More

They have a great location in Vail Village. The salsa for the chips I have to say was very, very good. Yet, I believe they could do better with the tortilla chips. The street tacos... I've had much better in a lot of places, except...for one which I think they nailed it: tacos al pastor --- This is a very good recipe, I would have eaten more of these.More

What a great view of the hills at Vail. During winter this would be fun to watch peeps coming down the hill, then again we would probably not be on the deck sipping yummy margaritas. It was a beautiful early September day here in Vail....If you are like me, you crave some yummy nachos, enchiladas or tacos while traveling. Their margaritas went down way to easily. We split an order of chicken nachos, had chicken tacos chicken. The food was all decent. The margaritas, sun and rays on the patio were the highlight.More

Took a break from skiing for a late lunch. Only waited 5-10 minutes for a table for 4, high top in the bar area. Beer was good, food was ok, service was friendly. The queso was our favorite part of the meal. Can't go wrong...here.More

I go to Vail a few times a year, and each time I have to eat here at least three times! Pretty sure they include beans and rice. I've lived in Texas, NC, Midwest and now Florida. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant... More
