Well... Food in Vail is not as good as the ski or the great outdoor activities during summer... And honestly I wonder why... This is probably one of the best restaurants in the villages of both Vail and Lionshead, but I believe it could be much better. The seafood is nice, the preparation was ok. My seafood pasta came with... More

Food was excellent. Waitstaff very friendly and good at their jobs. We went on a date night and left the kids at the condo. Was a relaxing dinner

Upon visiting Vail for the first time in January, I read about this restaurant, and when asking around about a seafood place; this is where I was sent. Local people talked about it. So then, upon my return visit in June, I made a point to make a reservation. To my disappointment, the room is dated and in great need... More

Sorry no one mentions these things... took 10 minutes to seat with 2 staff completely ignoring us and then we sat for 10 with no attention then we left. 7pm on Thursday night.

Great fresh seafood in CO. The swordfish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service was superb.

We were looking for seafood on a weeknight in June in West Vail. Not many places open so we were glad Montauk was open. Lovely environment. Great service and great food. I am picky about my beer and didn't see anything on menu. Waiter was determined to find something I would like. Talked to me about my likes and dislikes... More

The service was wonderful. The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful display. The Martini was perfect. The suggestions were great. There is a set menu price of $24. A great value for a delicious meal.

We stopped in (tired) after a long drive from Montana. We had oysters (good), I had a steak (very good) and my wife had fish (also very good). Nice assortment of regional beers.

Beautiful table on a gorgeous Colorado evening. Service good and friendly. Food unique and tasty. The off-season is so special in Vail.

If you are in the mood for quality seafood while in Vail then Montauk is the place to go. Friendly atmosphere and high quality food will not disappoint. The mussels appetizer is to die for and the fresh fish selection is always amazing. Great place for a nice romantic couples dinner or friends and family in a large group.
