This place is one of my favorite's in Vail. It's probably one of the only places around where you can eat actual good food for cheap. The George has an amazing happy hour from 3-9PM ($4.50 drinks and all food $10) and touts a casual,...More
This is a spot that locals have loved for years. It's basically Vail's version of Applebees. Meaning the food is prepackaged and then prepared. (Like the frozen carrot crinkles with broccoli) That being said, the prices are very reasonable for Vail, which is why there...More

Tucked away under a condominium The George is a delight in Vail. Relaxed and unassuming decor with no nonsense home cooked food. The George is well worth a visit, the red chilli is a delight. Some great beers on tap also.
Great place to spend time after a day on the slopes. Excellent service and the food is good. Everyone there is friendly and prices and a relief from normal Vail prices

The happy hour food choices are top notch. We ordered the duck and snow crab legs and both dishes were exceptional and very affordable. Both bartenders working were extremely cordial and offered to fill glasses as soon as they were emptied. All the patrons inside...More
