Classic Vail, great menu, fabulous specials. Appeals to the local crowd too. Just over the covered bridge, it's an iconic fixture woth the stop!

A restaurant where you can talk and eat the best food in Vail. While the crab leg and steak is pricey, it will be the best you ever had. Steak prices are reasonable and served by a wait staff that cares. Don't save it for a special occasion - try it now.

IN summer, sit in the window and watch the Vail world go by. The steaks are big and tasty. The service is local friendly and wine list is more than most of us need.

Great food. Service was excellent. Sit in bar area where the creek flows behind it. Nice view and very relaxing. Was there to celebrate boyfriends birthday and they made it very special.

The food was good, but pricey. However, what caused us to rate this restaurant poorly is the following: Apparently a service dog comes in each evening with its keeper as indicated by the Manager. Service dog not a problem! Having the service staff, waitresses and bar tender playing with the dog is the problem. After watching for an hour and... More

Met up with my nephew and his girlfriend while driving through the Rocky Mountains with Vail as one of our stops. This mean was very nice. We were seated immediately which probably owed to our later than normal arrival. The restaurant is well placed in the village and the ambiance was great for the evening. The service was excellent. I... More

Maybe not the best joint in town but probably the most consistent -- good food -- not cheap but not crazy expensive -- solid wine list --

I have been visiting Vail for the past week and had yet discovered a good place to get a steak. The steak was extremely well seasoned and very tender. Our salads were also very tasty and the food was timed perfectly. Drinks were good as well. Our server could have been a bit more attentive but overall did a good... More

Our dinner was fabulous...started with bacon wrapped scallops, then shared half and half salad. Husband had steak Diane and I had the Halibut special, both wete cooked perfectly and tasty. Waiter was Kent, he was great and manager Michael was very friendly. Sat at table by the window and enjoyed Gore Creek as we ate!

Vail is wonderful. The absolute only thing wrong with Vail is that you can’t get a good meal anywhere. When we pondered why on the way home we figured it’s because of the remote location and everything is shipped in. So vegetables, and prices, suffer. But shouldn’t steak in Colorado be good? Aren’t the steaks just standing around in fields... More

Just across the Covered Bridge in Vail Village is Bridge Street's warm, cozy and oldest steak house - Russell's. We have a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with wonderful Creekside dining. Russell's features dry aged Certified Angus beef, along with delightful fish entrees and world-renowned Alaskan King Crab Legs. One side dish that you can't pass up is our scalloped potatoes - baked with onions, bacon and cheese with a golden brown top. A lot of our staff members have been with us for 20 years or more. Come by and see for yourself why the locals and staff love Russell's. We take great pride in serving premier steaks and seafood in the most enjoyable and accommodating restaurant in Vail. Reservations recommended.
