I have been visiting Vail for the past week and had yet discovered a good place to get a steak. The steak was extremely well seasoned and very tender. Our salads were also very tasty and the food was timed perfectly. Drinks were good as well. Our server could have been a bit more attentive but overall did a good... More

Our dinner was fabulous...started with bacon wrapped scallops, then shared half and half salad. Husband had steak Diane and I had the Halibut special, both wete cooked perfectly and tasty. Waiter was Kent, he was great and manager Michael was very friendly. Sat at table by the window and enjoyed Gore Creek as we ate!

Vail is wonderful. The absolute only thing wrong with Vail is that you can’t get a good meal anywhere. When we pondered why on the way home we figured it’s because of the remote location and everything is shipped in. So vegetables, and prices, suffer. But shouldn’t steak in Colorado be good? Aren’t the steaks just standing around in fields... More

The restaurant sits directly on Gore Creek with dining room windows open to the cool breeze and sounds of rustling water. The food was very good - we had the steak (Bearnaise sauce was delicious) and the trout. Both were good and well prepared. Service was excellent. Prices are about average for Vail - do not expect cheap meals in... More

We have been patrons of this fine restaurant during each of our visits to Vail. The location is perfect, with a view of Gore Creek. On our last visit, the river was running fast and it was mesmerizing to watch. Of course, the food is great and the service is quick and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was suggested by the hotel where we were staying. He was correct the food is terrific here. Staff was friendly and we were sat next to this large open window and got to watch people walk by the whole time, very nice! I'd definitely recommend and I will go again. Only reason not a 5 rating was because... More

We celebrated my spouses birthday at Russell's. Our waitress was awesome, the hostess made sure we had a Gore Creek window table, and the food was delicious. We will be back when in Vail.

This must be one of the best places to get a steak in town. Especially the "blackened" versions are highly recommended. We brought our 5 year old son and they were very accommodating even though they didn't have a kids menu. We just asked for things he liked we could see they had on the regular menu and they served... Description
Just across the Covered Bridge in Vail Village is Bridge Street's warm, cozy and oldest steak house - Russell's. We have a friendly, relaxing atmosphere with wonderful Creekside dining. Russell's features dry aged Certified Angus beef, along with delightful fish entrees and world-renowned Alaskan King Crab Legs. One side dish that you can't pass up is our scalloped potatoes - baked with onions, bacon and cheese with a golden brown top. A lot of our staff members have been with us for 20 years or more. Come by and see for yourself why the locals and staff love Russell's. We take great pride in serving premier steaks and seafood in the most enjoyable and accommodating restaurant in Vail. Reservations recommended.
