Sample the fabulous selection of small plate appetizers coupled with a great bottle of Domaine Serene Yamhill Pinot! You won't be disappointed. Sit out on the front or back terrace, but arrive early! It isn't inexpensive but the cuisine is worth every morsel! The Caesar salad is second to none! The Kona Crudo is an amazing blast of citrus &... More

We had a fabulous dinner with Jesse as our waiter. He was great, and the food was so very good. Plan ahead and book several weeks in advance and this restaurant will be a highlight of your stay as well.

Sweet Basil has an incredible elevated outdoor dining area with viewing of the shops, creek and people watching. The food from the appetizers to the entrees is one not to miss. This restaurant is always on our list of must stops when we are in Vail, CO.

Went with 3 families with children and had a lovely experience. Decor is nice and sitting by the creek was enjoyable. Server was pleasant and patient with the children and selection for all was good. Sandwich bread was much more than I expected however they offer an open face option which took care of that worry. Would recommend for families... More

5 star treatment. Beautiful venue. We had lunch for my wife and I which included Blackened Halibut Tacos and Seared Salmon Sandwich. The sandwich came with Truffle fries which were absolutely the best I've ever had anywhere. Both lunches were amazing. Prices are very high (but aren't they all in Vail?). We were very satisfied and it was a real... More

Beautiful setting, fabulous service and the food was divine! We had raw oysters which were from Oregon and very fresh, fish and lamb entrees which were both awesome! I would certainly recommend this wonderful place & suggest reservations. We sat on the back patio overlooking the creek bank of Gore River. Can't wait to return!

From the street it looks like a small outdoor bistro--but once you enter, it is a complex of rooms that goes all the way through to the water. The servers were very attentive, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. The food was delicious, although sort of ordinary in presentation. I would have thought for the price, it would be more artful. An... More
