We stopped in for lunch after taking our toddler skiing for the first time. We were blows away by the prices and yes we live in vail so we are not often shocked at food prices but Larkspur prices are absurd. $32 for a hamburger...with cheese, $40 for a salad of arugula with chicken, $26 for a bowl of chili. Sorry guys we won’t be returning.More

Larkspur was able to accommodate our party of 16 for lunch while we were in Vail, and it was such a splendid meal. The Bloody Mary was made with love and affection. The Kusshi oysters hit the SPOT. Above all, the Lobster Club nourished my...soul in a way that prepared me for the afternoon slopes!More

We dine at Larkspur regularly when we're in town for the winter and we ALWAYS love their food and service. However, I would like to give them a special shout out for saving my daughter's birthday. I always do something big for her because her...birthday is in between Christmas and New Years. These last two years we've had to cancel her birthday plans due to covid. This year I was desperate to do something that would still allow her to spend time with her friends. Huge shout out to Larkspur, Rafal, and Digger for finding a fantastic solution for us and making it great day!! I am one grateful mama!! P.S. the grilled cheese-tomato soup as well as the crispy chicken tacos are outstanding for lunch!More

Restaurant of choice for the past 15 years for a great ski in ski out lunch at Vail Mountain. We usually show up with 8-10 people. The food is exceptionally good with reliable constants on the menu. Everyone has their favorites ready to order. For...me it’s the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. The preparation is second to none anywhere else I have tried. The service at Larkspur is always exceptional. Today we were served by Daniel. He was very accommodating and right on top of everything.More

After supporting Larkspur since it's opening today I experienced something i never thought could happen. Understanding that restaurants needed to raise prices because of covid, the last straw for me was being charged an additional $4.75 for a refill of club soda. I am ok...paying the $43 they charge for a bacon cheese burger and fries (without tip and tax) but this was the last straw. While explaining how i felt to the bar tender (that has know me for as long as he worked there) the owner overheard me and went on a tirade telling me how he needed to survive. If the owner cared about his employees maybe he shouldn't have chased away a great client, that clients family and all the friends that frequent the restaurant. I have one word to describe the owner "MORON"More

Beautiful view on ski runs from outdoor tables but limited and absurdly expensive menu. To add American cheese to a burger costs $3.50.

We held my daughter’s engagement party for 21 adults at the Larkspur in the evening so we had the venue all to ourselves. The staff Was incredibly responsive to all our guests needs. The bartender Joshua was great at recommending different specialty cocktails. The menu...that was created for our event was spectacular. All our guest raved about the sea bass and a wonderful apple tart for dessert. The veal meatball appetizers were also delicious. Isabel was a great help in planning this event remotely. She was responsive and adjusted the menu for our Guest’s allergies. I highly recommend having an event here. If we didn’t live in Atlanta we would be holding the wedding here.More

First of all the food was delicious. It was very good after skiing food. They had menus for all ages. And their chili was some of the best chili I’ve ever tried. And their grilled cheese was perfect. Secondly, their customer service was amazing. Their...waiters would keep checking in with you. Our waiter was Valentine, he was very nice and did a great job! Also their Covid precautions were well placed and clearly thought through. It was also perfect because it is right next to the mountain. It’s the perfect place for people of all ages. When you come here expect great customer service and incredible food.More
