I started with a sake called music sake, it was marvelous. As a starter I ordered some sishito peppers which were amazing, I ordered the traditional rock shrimp with a creamy spicy sauce, They never cease to amaze. The new style sashimi of beef is great, quality of the beef is fantastic, melts in your mouth. Then I ordered the... More

Yum!! You can't go wrong at Nubu's Matsuhisa Vail or Aspen! Amazing views and every dish is delightfully! Also some of the best sommeliers in the valley. Bring your appetite you won't be disappointed.

The best sushi place at Vail offers top notch Sushi and Japanese dishes for the apres ski demanding crowd. It's a must place to visit and something worth for a great night date in Vail.

The service in this restaurant is all it stands out for. The light is bad, the music does not go well with the place. Its trying to be some Vegas styled restaurant but It failed to live up to the hype. We ordered the Omakase. The only food that stood out was the sushi, everything else was very average. My... More

Went to Matsuhisa with friends during a ski trip in February, it is not the first restaurant from Nobu chain that we visited, but in my opinion it defenitely is the best. We shared several appetizers and all of them were great, specially the jalapeño hamachi, then we had a wagyu beef on a salt hot rock korean barbecue style,... More

Other than the sticker shock on the price and the difficulty getting a reservation, this restaurant has no flaws. This is the freshest sushi I have had in a long time. Unusual and interesting dishes. Lovely atmosphere. They have done a great job on cutting down the noise. I recommend sitting at the Sushi Bar. High prices.

Great sushi dinner. Trendy and fresh fish. The tempura dishes are okay, but I'd defer to the sushi/sashimi instead. Super fresh and some inventive appetizers and rolls.

We went here on Monday for dinner. The hostess could use some training but I can chalk that up to poor management. Once we were seated- by our server Bobby because the hostess was aloof- everything went smoothly. Bobby was an excellent waiter and went over the entire menu and answered any questions. He guided us through different drinks and... More
