Just finished dinner at The Flame in the Four Seasons. We saved this place for last night in Vail before we head back home tomorrow . Wow we did save the best for last . I had a fantastic small filet cooked perfectly . Wife had Salmon. Tried the Spinach.... Brussel Sprouts. Hmm. And finished with the Strawberry shortcake .... More

We were staying over the weekend and visited this steak house in the hotel on Saturday night. Food was amazing. My broiled octopus was tender and flavorful and elk corn dog good too. Steak was done perfectly & diver scallops were very fresh. Server and assistant were friendly & Received prompted service.

Flame is an atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic wine list. Primarily a steak restaurant which really delivers on quality. The Porterhouse shared between two was plenty but not too much even for slightly wimpy British appetites. That said it was a truly fantastic piece of steak, one of the best I've ever had. Not cheap but really worth it!

This was my second visit and it confirmed my initial feelings that this is a great place to have a steak. The service was great, but most importantly the meat is excellent. The side orders made great steak even better. If you are a meat lover and find yourself in Vail, this is your place.

Took my family of four to Flame for the first time last night and was very impressed. The service was the most impressive aspect of our meal, but the food was very, very good. The steak was well above average, different sauces were very interesting and very good. Chocolate soufflé was outstanding. As stated before, the service was outstanding, I... More

If you can request Joey, the waiter, also a master sommelier, (he is not there long as off to Detroit to apply his many skills there) he not only paced our dinner expertly but he pared each course with a different wine option from shrimp cocktail to the incredible flat iron steak my wife had and the NY Strip I... Great service and excellent food! We had a nice, quiet (yes, in the middle of Spring Ski season even!) meal. This is in the Four Seasons and the bar upstairs is fun for a drink before or after dinner as well.

Despite just coming online recently, this restaurant provides some great beef. I find the dining room to be a big sterile but otherwise it works OK.

Restaurant is very elegant, waitstaff accommodating, we did want to eat dinner there as well, but because of a wedding, it was totally booked, so next time. However, The Four Seasons made us a reservation at another place so all worked out.

Description
Make dining fun again. Four Seasons Resort Vail has reinvented Flame Restaurant with inventive twists on classic steakhouse favorites. Start off by tempting your palate with elk corndogs and a duo of dipping sauces, indulgent sides, such as truffled comte fritters with wild mushroom and bacon ragout, or satisfy your sweet tooth with maple bacon doughnuts with cherry bourbon compote. Of course, our menu still offers a variety of prime steak selections, like the 32-ounce dry-aged Waygu Ribeye, which is cooked to perfection under our 1,800 degree custom broiler, paired with house-made sauces and carved tableside.
