My sons loved their wings - nice and crisp with the sauce underneath. Their salads and soups were good too. We did not have a chance to bowl.

We had a delicious dinner at Bol and the tuna tartare is a must. Could not say enough about the great fun we had bowling after dinner. Comfy lounge area with cocktails and great service.

No one would think that a a restaurant with a bowling ally would serve such food food. I love the beef carpaccio, with truffle vinaigrette, chicken wings are really good, a avocado and chickpea toast was nice and so were the kids burgers. Service is not as good as the food was, but well...I guess you can watch TV and... More

Only had two items so cannot give a comprehensive review but lunch with a BLT and hamburger was a very enjoyable experience. Both were perfectly prepared with locally sourced products. Ale was on special at $6 per glass, making the total lunch tab w tip $40. The interior is beautifully done, by the way.

We liked the restaurant along the bowling alley. Compared to other places, here the restaurant and bar are the main attraction and the bowling is in an adjacent area. This makes it fee like they have better cuisine than regular bowling places with wings and burgers. We just had bowling and drinks. The bowling looks high end. With lounge sofas... More

Every year we come up to Vail and stop by Bol to have lunch during the Farmer's Market. This year was the best yet. Lily was our server and was totally fun. Lunch was really really good. The salmon board was terrific, lots of salmon, capers, heirloom tomatoes, red onion slices and cream cheese with slices of multi-grain toast. Yum!... More

What a wonderful review! Thank you so much, Musette Y, for the wonderful compliments to our establishment and staff. Our server will be as delighted as I was to see her mentioned by name! You picked two of our main eye-poppers for lunch. The salmon garners a lot oohs and aahs just on the presentation alone. I agree with you... More

The patio seating is great for watching the fly fishing practice on the courtyard lawn and watch the antics of the massively unhappy small children being dragged to and fro by their nearly exasperated parents. The food has some creative bent, is well prepared and tasty. The Avo toast was a test case and we found it fine and dandy.... More

Lunch and a show! Hello DudefrmAK, and thanks for your comment. Your feedback is very valuable. Yes, we have an interesting population or locals and visitors here in Vail, and the patio at Bol lends itself to, as you said, some interesting people watching indeed. It’s good to hear that you liked the Avocado Toast and BLT, and enjoyed our... More

We stopped at Bol in Vail because we were tired and hungry on a hot day. Once inside, we found amazing food, great atmosphere, and - the biggest surprise of all for us - an amazing bowling alley. We like to try different foods, so we shared three appetizers: tuna tartare, carpaccio, and the smoked salmon board. All three were... More

Bōl has found a way to combine bowling and excellent dining. The food is consistently good, and the wine list is quite extensive. Make sure to secure bowling reservations well in advance if you are coming during a busy time of year.

Thanks, travelcouple2004, for such a great review! We have a very unique place here at Bol, and it is nice to know that we can combine two seemingly different activities, fine dining and bowling, into one location. Our food is one thing that we are always working on to make sure things stay consistent. And we have put in a... More
