We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Big Bear Bistro. The place is small, and we enjoyed seating outside. The food was delicious, and the service was good. Big Bear Bistro is a popular place and well worth a try.

We were staying in Vail for a couple days for a follow up surgical visit. We didn't want the large, expensive sit down breakfast at the hotel so we decided to wander around to see what we could find. We stumbled upon Big Bear Bistro and decided to try it. They had quite a bit to choose from. I ordered... More

We had a lovely breakfast at Big Bear Bistro! They have a variety of options for breakfast and lunch. Even though it is a fast casual place, the food is beautifully presented. They have both savory and sweet crepes, and they were larger than we expected!

Had a delicious and reasonably priced breakfast in Vail at the cozy, friendly Big Bear Bistro. We enjoyed breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit and a gooey, warm cinnamon roll. Everything was tasty ~ Staff was friendly ~ Space was comfortable. Good value meal in this resort town. Also had a good lunch there last time we were in Vail. Definitely worth... More

We just wanted a inexpensive, sit-down lunch away from the crowds. What we got was huge sandwiches at a very reasonable price, an outside table with a bit of a view of the river, with shade and quiet. Also, it seemed that every person under the age of 30 also wanted to eat here. Who says the young don't have... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. They have a large menu full of good sandwiches and crepes, etc. It's a very small place, so it can feel a little cramped, but it's worth it.

Great little spot for lunch. We had the roast beef and blue cheese crepe with horseradish aioli, and Rocky Mountain root beer. It was a bit different and quite good.

This is one of my favorite places to get a sandwich in Vail village. I have heard some not so good reviews about the changes here. I had to see it for myself. My sandwich was not the amazing beast it was once before. Different bread less meat and the pickle was so tiny and wilted. I will try it... More

Hi Robert, we're very sorry you had a bad experience. I'd like to assure you we have used the same bread, from the same local bakery baked fresh daily since we opened 8 years ago; as it's hand made there is some variation. Same goes for the quality and quantity of Boar's Head meats, the cheeses, veggie toppings and sauces... More

We loved this charming little cafe. It's not pretentious - it's really homey. We had a breakfast one morning with crepes, omelettes, oatmeal and more. Everyone loved their meals. Then we returned for lunch another day. The caramelized onion and cheese quesadilla was truly tasty and they were wonderful to add guacamole for me. For apres ski it's also a... More
