The only real sit down, table service option on the lionshead side of the mountain (other than game creek). Unfortunately, the food is something you would get served in a high school cafeteria. If you're on the vail side, you get the 10th, which has great food and an atmosphere consistent with the rest of the village, but on the... More

Kids loved taking the gondola up but everything else was ho-hum. Service was fine but food was lacking in imagination, quality and taste. Chicken pot pie better than average. Eggplant parm dry and bland. Kids grilled cheese only came as 1/2 a sandwich. Kids liked the carrots/grapes that came prior to meal and free ice cream dessert after.

Located at the top of Eagle Bahn Gondola at Vail, Bistro 14 serves up delicious fare for hungry skiers & snowboarders. My son & I met my wife there midday after a few hours on the mountain. He had the burger, I had the buffalo chili w/ steak salad, and my wife had the corn dip. The dip was slightly... More

Good variety in the menu and a most enjoyable atmosphere! Live music was a nice touch to boot! All the staff made certain we had a great experience! This is a great place to have dinner and then go tubing at night - the best time for no crowds!

We went there on a Tuesday for the BOGO entree special. The posole soup was good, but the hamburger tasted like it had been frozen and the chicken pot pie was unbelievable bad. It tasted like a canned chicken soup with a pastry shell top. The waiter was friendly and a cook even came out to visit with us. I... More

It is a more relaxed atmosphere than the cafeteria but the food is on the same level.Service is friendly but slow, not a plus for who want to go back skiing. To be avoided

We were skiing and thought a nice sit down break would do us good. I have to say it was a nice ambience and the staff were kind and efficient. The kids liked the kids meal that came with carrots and fruit for a starter, a nice size meal option and dessert. Much better option (cost wise) than mid vail.... More

We had a great dinner at Bistro 14 and really enjoyed teh Gondola ride up to the restaurant. When we booked our reservation we weren't told that we needed to take the Gondola from Lionshead Village up the mountain to Bistro 14, but once we figured that part out we were well on our way. I ordered the ribeye with... More

We've only had lunch here. Food is alright. View, location and service is very good. Had the burger and fries this time. Have had French onion soup on another visit.

We took our 2 kids for the evening they loved the gondola ride up and down the mountain. I ordered the chicken pot pie which reminded me of baby food because the filling was so thick and seemed as if it was pureed together. The vegetables had no texture because they had been cooked too long. The pastry on top... More
