Never been, was there for a party. The best food, very pleased with all the selections. Very quaint, nice outdoor seating. The cheeses and selections were yummy. Nice wine and drink menu.

The restaurant service warmed up, but from hostess to server it was a little chilly at the start. However, the kitchen really overcame any hesitation based on service issues, and the service gradually warmed up. The steak tartare was modern and elegant, while the duck breast was particularly nicely paired with dark cherries. But the scene stealer was the plum... More

This restaurant has been consistently good since I moved to Telluride 23 years ago! Fantastic ambiance in any of the 3 dinning areas. Stop by the bar area or outside seating if you don't have reservations.

Located in a small house, this restaurant is very romantic and provides a special dining experience -- in a relaxed, not-at-all-stuffy way. Oysters, beet salad, tuna sashimi, beef cheeks were all excellent as is the staff. It's small and often hard to get in, but be patient and arrange your dinner reservations if need be. La Marmotte is worth it.

The good: the atmosphere and decor, appetizers of shrimp as well as scallops, and the service. Not so good: house salad had great ingredients but could have been more flavorful. Also, the cod was nicely cooked but totally tasteless. When brought to the server's attention, he immediately acted and had more and a different sauce added which took it from... More

We sat on the patio for happy hour and were very pleased with our visit. The food was very high quality and delicious. The onion soup and heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad were particularly amazing. Maren, the owner, was lovely and our waiter, George, was fast and attentive. This is a must stop when you visit Telluride. Absolutely delicious.

We came to this restaurant for Christmas dinner for many years and loved it. We hadn't been for a while a decided to give it a try after hearing about some changes. The changes are actually for the better. My husband and i had the kale caesar salad which was amazingly delicious - no bottled white dressing here. I had... More

The place is cozy, and the personal is very kind. They have a high good quality menu, would say French style with local ingredients. This visit I had the Colorado Rabbit with pappardelle, which was really fresh and tender and one of my favorites is the Pork Chop.

Let's start with the positives: nice space, excellent ingredients and very good service. The food however was disappointing. The hanger steak was good quality meat grilled as ordered but then placed in a watery broth of some kind. The lamb was quite good quality but came swimming in another tasteless sauce that was supposed to be Rosemary based. Not horrible... More
