I'm vegetarian so it was a great surprise to see an entire meatless section on the menu at a BBQ place. The black beans and spinach were kind of a soup and delicious! My boyfriend got pulled chicken and said it was the best meal he'd had in Telluride.

I'm a long time local and have been eating here for over 2 decades so I know that it's consistently great! Outdoor seating, apres ski, large bar, and easy location make this great for lunch or dinner or just having drinks! Ask Robbie for the Sloppy Chicken sandwich!

Ate at Fat Alley on this trip to town. As always the food was excellent. Great variety, and a good value.

My family and I have been coming to this place for years, in all their various locations in town. They have good BBQ and a really good mixed salad (the dressing is unreal). It's a real local spot (at least it used to be) and big communal tables.

First class service service and food! And that was in the walk in bar. Steaks to die for cooked black and blue ...perfect.

I've eaten at Fat Alley about 10 times, partly because I like Cajun food. It's never great, but it's always pretty solid. Their gumbo is my favorite. If I want a BBQ chicken sandwich, I won't hesitate to order it though my last one had a dry bun, which put a damper on my somewhat decadent eating experience. (I typically... More

So it was raining and we just walked in for lunch . The chef must be from New Orleans because the menu consisted of Gumbo and foods from the south. The French fries had a seasoning that did not appeal to me, very salty . The same seasoning was on the chips they served with the spinach dip. Would I... More

The restaurant and the staff were certainly pleasant enough but food was not distinguished at all. I had a cup of gumbo and salad both of which were fine but nothing special. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich which was not very tasty and the accompanying barbecue sauce was very vinegary, not sweet at all. She also ordered a... More

We ate here for dinner while passing through Telluride on our vacation in October. It was a couple blocks from our lodging and at the base of the gondola so it was convenient. This is pretty much the off season so not too many people dining but the owner said it was definitely packed when the snow flies. My wife... More
